Top Chef

Joe and I went shopping the other night...you know, running errands. I picked up a few dinners: Lobster Bisque with Quail Egg and Grain & Gluten free Tuna & Chicken Stew.

Okay, so this was in the cat food aisle...
I'm thinking we are gonna be eating good in our old age.

Move over, kitties....

Hi Hobbes, you do eat well. Better be careful, it sure sounds like your Mom is going to pilfer some of your food. You all have a great day.

Oh, funny. You are already planning your dietary patterns for your old age!

I've heard that cats were worshiped in ages past . . . as gods.

They still haven't forgotten that, have they?

MOL, those names are created strictly to appeal to humans! Me? I'd prefer a can of cat food that was called Chicken, Chicken and More Chicken!

I wouldn't human food with those names, and my cats wouldn't cat food with those names - and vice versa. We are a contrary household...

Cute photo of Hobbes! Isn't it crazy what kinds of cat food there is out there these days?

My brood gets two boxes of fancy feast per month. When they are gone they are gone. AFter that it's just Friskies

Oh no Lin, I just read your comment about the feral cats. Who wants to do that, get rid of them?? Is there any way, you can trap them and move them to another location but that probably wouldn't work unless they have a safe place to go to in emergencys.
That is just horrible. Keep trying to contact people like the ones that helped you with the TNR. Call the vets. I don't know. Gosh I hope you can come up with something. Where do you live?? Maybe I can contact someone.

Marg--Funny thing is that this is Grace's food. Hobbes only likes dry. Go figure.

Vanilla--It's cheap AND delicious....sounding. :)

Duni--Not him, he likes dry cat food. This is for Grace and even then, she's not sure she likes it.

BumbleVee--Isn't that funny? I told Joe that we will be eating good for $1/can! And yes, there really was a quail egg in there!

Lisa--He's a goof, that cat.

Chuck--I think they are worshiped pretty well here.

Donna--Wonder how it is warmed up?

Sparkle--Yep, Grace is like that too. Give her Chicken Fancy Feast and she's happy. although in her old age, she doesn't want to eat much anymore. I think her taste buds have shriveled up.

Grace--I only buy this stuff to get Grace to eat. I will buy anything apparently.

Beaded Tail--It's nuts. And I'm buying it! Well, for Grace who doesn't want to eat her food anymore.

Patty--Hobbes is a dry cat food guy--and diet food at that. This is for Grace. I'm not sure she likes it.

Ann--He's a vacuum cleaner, that cat. He's on a diet now....don't tell him.

Marg--I am soooo upset! There is only so much I can do. I have contacted BIG TNR people here in Chicago, and they have turned to PAWS which is HUGE in Chicago. I have really good help, but I have to step back and just be the mole inside the company. I can't lose my job over this. I will keep you posted. Just say a few prayers that he doesn't kill the cats.
