As a follow up to my post yesterday, I finally got a call from the Director of Housing at Loyola University...AFTER I emailed him to thank him for not calling when he said he would. Is it just a coincidence that this fool's name is "ass" with a "C" at the beginning? I think not.
Well, he pretty much thought the behavior of his staff was acceptable and lauded them for sticking by the rules. Yeah, the rules of being an a-hole. So, while I tried explaining to him (over the screaming kids in his background) that sometimes you just have to be human and be nice to people, he just never got it.
Every encounter with Loyola University has been a nightmare for me. They are rigid and unwelcoming on every level. It makes me sad because Emma was so excited to go there...and still sorta likes it. Me...I'm done. My patience is gone and she's only been there a few months.
I think Loyola thinks "Jesuit" means "We're a-holes."
Color me crabby. I think I would have been better off not talking to him. Now my blood is just boiling.
