Out of Office

Kathy and I have decided this is our new "Out of Office" messages at work.  Or at the very least, it's my post for today as I'm off to my very last parent-teacher conference EVER!  Not that I'm sad about that or anything.

I know what you are thinking---I'm sure those teachers are relieved as well.

I am sure those teachers kept on their toes and that is a good thing.

You should show up and pronounce "I am here for the shenanigans!" I mean, it's your last one. Might as well go out in a blaze of glory.

I'm still laughing about this picture. I must have looked at it 10 times today.

Patty--I dunno. I guess it's important that I look out for my kids and make sure they are learning. If that means riding some teachers and administration, then so be it. I think we are respected, welcomed, and sometimes dreaded. If you dread me, that just means you weren't doing your job. It's good to be done.

Grace--This just struck our funny bone today for some reason.

Marg--I wonder if the people at work will think it's funny too???

Melodie--There is one teacher that I absolutely refuse to talk to. I would get more information by talking to a dust ball than her--and less aggravation as well. But most are nice and I enjoy the interaction. It was a good day.

BumbleVee--:)

Home & Food--Hi, new pally! Conferences went well. I'm lucky to have a good kid.

Kathy--I didn't do that, but I did announce loudly "This is my very LAST parent/teacher conference EVER!!" and I think there were teachers who wanted to applaud. Joe would not let me walk around and say goodbye to the teachers I like and flip off the ones I don't. Bugger.

Candy--I wonder if they would get it at work?

Ann--Oh, gees, it was so good to be done! Joe and I high-fived each other when we left. It's been a long haul.

Vanilla--Oh yeah! I forgot about Emma! Hahaha!

I get the idea that wherever you are, you are "attending the shenanigans." Or am I wrong?

Chuck--Hahaha! Right you are, my friend!
