OK, now that I've seen that, I'll be watching our pond frogs a little more intently come summer. I think frogs are so cute....but I wonder if I could turn that one into a prince if I kiss him??
Grace--I LOVE it, Grace! Thanks for thinking of me. :) Please send the toaster photo too.
Diane--I think the only time they are busy is when they are hungry!
Marg--I do have lily pads! And yes, they really do sit on them.
Vanilla--I love the dotty underside of a bullfrog. They really are beautiful--in their own sorta way.
Ashley--Hi, new pally! I'm Lin, Grace is a pally who sent the photo to me. If you stick around here long enough--you'll find the frogs doing all sorts of silly things. Well, we all do, actually.
Hot Rocks--Uh oh. I guess I should be doing mine as well????
Betty--Me too! Betty, I mean everything I write--you are something, my friend. :)
Nancy--Oh, no, they are back to slumbering here -- It's cold again. :( Spring is a long way off yet.
Liz--Yeah, I'd like that life....if it wasn't so scary. Lots of predators, you know?
Petula--I could use a lily pad right about now. Far away. Some place warm and sunny!
Pricilla--Smarter? I dunno, but maybe happier with all that free time.
Beaded Tail--Yeah, me too, even though I have yet to see it.
Ann--I like it too. I can't wait for warm weather!
Karen--With all the frog-raisin' I do, I have never, ever kissed one. I will catch them with the net, release it with my bare hands, and bring some back to life--but I refuse to put my lips on one of those frogs. Once you've seen them eat a bird, I don't think any prince is worth it.
I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days.
I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up!
I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

I think that photo is a hoot and when I chanced upon it I thought immediately of you. I also found a very funny toaster photo...
Oh yes... Frogs only act busy when humans are around. They actually very lazy creatures I hear.
That is hysterical. Frogs and cats must have been related at some time. Love the picture.Do you have lily pads in your frog pond?? Have a super day.
Freddie better be careful he doesn't sun burn his belleh.
Dear Grace,
Hahaha that frog has the right idea. He looks like he is relaxing, but who knows. Maybe that's some weird froggie exercise.
Glad I found your blog. Nice to meet you!

Maybe he is doing his situps so that he is in shape for springtime!
I wanna do that all day!
Thanks for your sweet comment today!
Hahah....let's hope that's not them today though! There's news of snow here:)
Oh that there...is the life.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could all lay on lily pads and relax all day? Then when someone comes around we can pretend to be busy.
Very cute photo!
Guess they are smarter than we all thought
That's funny! I'm glad to know that frogs can go belleh up in a good way!
I love that picture. It almost makes me want to be a frog :)

That's just funny looking. I keep expecting him to put on a top hat and start singing.
Ha! How could I have gotten so far behind reading your blog?
