My friend, John, told me the other day that I post too many photos of my feet on my blog. Really? Because I don't think so--especially when you have great toe stories. I don't think there are a lot of great feet bloggers out there, so maybe I've carved out my niche. I think it's a brilliant idea--unless I start getting weirdo feet people leaving comments on my blog. Then, not such a great idea.
I think he is also secretly jealous of my straight toe, which, by the way, was revealed to the general public in a vodka gimlet induced toe-peep show Saturday night. Okay, so this evening also featured crooked fingers and spit balls (shot by the adults, I might add), so I think you can see that me showing off my newly-fixed toe wasn't exactly weird.
Well, maybe it was....just a little. But that toe starts conversation, I tell ya. Everyone has a toe story it seems. Or a crooked finger--according to another friend, Steve. I'd like to take credit for inspiring him to schedule his surgery to get that thing fixed. So, yeah, John, my toe is inspiring too. Me and Toe--we are gonna take on the WORLD. We are kinda like Oprah in that way.
And for the record, I have photos of other people's feet on this blog too:
Look familiar, John?? Hmmmmm?
If this takes off, we may be changing the name of the blog to Duck and Wheel with String and Feet. Criminy, imagine the header.....

I think the "new"toe should have a special name.
LMAO, so what constitutes a weirdo foot person? I should send you a picture of my feet. I probably need 90 surgeries on my toes. There isn't a straight toe amongst them. Those cute toes of mine are just going to have to stay all bent. We are thrilled by the way to see that straight toe. It is just gorgeous. Have a great Toe Monday.
The toe look great, but lonely. Don't you think it needs a tat just to keep it company? Just asking' . . .
I post lots of photo of my cats but I am a weirdo cat person so I guess it doesn't matter if I attract other weirdo cat people. Maybe you can develop a whole readership of toe fetishists. I have never seen a foot blogger so as far as I am concerned, you are the first.
It's all in how you title the blog post - this one might attract a toe person or two...
Hey Toe. How ya doin' Toe? My sister had a rooster named Two Toe. To Toe or not to Toe, that is the question...
I can't wait to see the Toe in the header. You can tie the string from the Duck to the Toe.
I need more coffee......
Do we get to meet this new toe? :) A friend of mine was friended by someone on Facebook because they shared a common interest in a TV show. Once he was her friend though he asked her every single day for photos of her feet because it seems he had a huge foot fetish! She unfriended him pretty quickly since he would not take no for an answer!
I like your toe posts. Sounds like your Saturday nights are more fun than mine!
I agree with Pricilla, the toe should be in the header!
Your toe looks great. Of course I'm also guilty of toe postings.
Oh and then you could have a I love toes day.
Melodie--When you see it you'll know why, but I call it "FrankenToe". Lovingly, of course.
Marg--Do all those bendy toes hurt? Mine hurt so I had to get it fixed. But I also met my deductible and that sorta forced the issue too. As soon as the swelling goes down, I will be presenting New and Improved Toe.
Chuck--Only fake tattoos. I have my limits.
Anne--I don't think I want toe fetishests coming here. That is exactly what I'm afraid of!
Grace--EEEK! I hope not.
Diane--Your sister had a two-toed rooster? Criminy, that is just weird! How many toes do roosters normally have???
Pricilla--I'm NOT putting the toe in the header!
Beaded Tail--That's what I'm afraid of. I think I'd better go back to frogs and stuff. I have to wait for Toe to quit swelling--then I will show it. Don't want to gross folks out.
Hot Rocks--Oh, this Saturday night was a HOOT! We have a good bunch of friends who are sillier than me. Makes for LOTS of laughs every time we get together.
Daisy--NOPE! Toe is NOT going in the header!! You people/cats are CRAZY!
Sharkey--Oh, that's not my toe--that is Betty's toes--John's wife. You know, the guy who told me I post too many toe photos. I thought it was funny that I had a photo of his wife's toes!!
Ann--As much as I love that idea, I'm thinking I might be sending the wrong message with that one, Ann. :(
I'd do a feet post too but somebody would inevitably mistake me for a Bigfoot and start hunting me.
Ratty--That's FUNNY! Hahaha!
If I put my feet I'd have enviromentalist wondering who let the monkey loose in the (usually)great white north. I have freaky long toes. I always have toe cleavage in flats.
Speaking of toes...I hope yours has healed up nicely and doesn't hurt that bad anymore!
What Winnie says above is so funny - toe cleavage! I have that too.
Oh, I'm so jealous you can knit ;-)
I better get practicing...
Winnie--Toe cleavage--that's hilarious!! :P
Duni--It is still swollen, but it is coming along well. I can't wait to wear whatever shoes I want--and to have toe cleavage again. :) When I start knitting, I get obsessed--can't put it down. It's like I'm on crack. I have to keep my knitting down to minimum so I still get stuff done around here.
That's a catchy title! :D
