Who-the-heck-doesn't-love-Hobbes Thursday

This is my cat, Hobbes.

This is my cat, Hobbes, throwing a big baby fit because
he can't go outside because it is dark and some evil raccoon
or skunk or coyote or the neighbor's cat, Mabel, will get him.

He has a definite flair for dramatics, doesn't he?

I don't know where he gets it.

Well who doesn't love Hobbes Thursday! And I have seen that hissy fit pose before. But I think I was the one doing it! LOL!!

Happy Thursday Lin and Hobbes!

Awww that's my boy!

One of my bloggy friends moved to LA and about a month ago a coyote did carry off one of their cats. Too horrendous to think about.

Been MIA lately. Work. Need I say more.

Awww...Hobbes ♥

Sammy throws a fit if I don't get him his meals in time ;-)

Joe, perhaps?

Maybe he gets it from watching your teenagers? Sorry I am spending a lot of time with middle schoolers and no one can beat them for dramatic. I love Hobbes and would probably rub his tummy if he rolled over like that in front of me.

You know what they say, "Like mom, like cat." ;)

I love that second photo. The purple and orange have a neato effect. And did you photoshop the dirt out of that rug or is it really perfectly clean?! I am impressed! (and jealous, lol).

That is hilarious!

Many things can carry a cat away....I am sure Hobbes would not like to take flight with an eagle or owl

That is the cutest big hissy fit we've ever seen! We LOVE Hobbes!

Maybe I should try throwing a fit. Think it will get me what I want?

Nancy said...

Hahahah....Langley does that. But just when he's trying to get me to feed him, you know, two- three hours before he's supposed to eat.

Haha, I always say my dog acts like a two year old when she doesn't get her way...but this definitely takes the cake.

There is just something about a cat that is willing to bear their belly to you. I just want to rush them and rub my face in that soft soft furry.
Unfortunately neither that cat, nor my allergies ever approve.

Hobbes, are you stomping your back feet against the door!?

ROFL, I've never seen a kitty throw a temper tantrum before. Thanks for the best laugh I've had all day

That is really funny. I needed a good laugh. Lord that is funny. You need to enter that in a contest. Mom is laughing her head off. Great picture. Thanks for your kind words about the kittens. Take care.

Catherine--Did you kick the door? ;)

Helene--Oh, that worries me here too. I worry what's out there in the dark. Work sucks.

Duni--I have a video to go along with this--he's so dramatic. Does Sammy kick the door too?

Vanilla--*gasp!* Nooo. Sheesh.
:P

Hot Rocks--Yeah, he's great. And he flicks his tail and meows up a storm. There is a whole show that he puts on. I'll post the video of this one of these days.

Grace--Definitely Joe. NOT me! ;)

Anne--You would lose your arm if you touched the tummy when he's mad. Sorta like those teens!

Rebecca--Well, I vacuum every day (I know, I know) so the rug is always clean. But that is also a new rug after Sammy the Weiner Dog ate the other one.

Violet--Yeah, he's a regular riot. Ugh.

Pricilla--We don't have eagles here, but we do get an owl every now and then. I just don't want him out when it is dark--although he thinks differently.

Beaded Tail--Isn't it funny? I have a video too that I was going to post. He's got this lame meow that goes with his fit--it's hilarious.

Petula--Nope. Not in this house. It will buy you some alone time though! :)

Nancy--Oh, kitties are dramatic, aren't they? I'm sure he is starving, right?

Silverthoughts--I'm not sure how he thinks laying on your back all cute-like is supposed to show you are mad. He's not so smart.

LJ--Hi, Pally!! And neither will Hobbes. You get claws and teeth if you dare!

Daisy--YES. And he meows all pathetic-like. He is all drama. Sigh.

Ann--It's ridiculous. The feet stomping on the door is the best. He's all drama, all the time!

Marg--I'm glad Hobbes made you laugh today. It's hard to love animals--they will break your heart every time. I'm really sorry for the loss of Dora, but she came to you too late. You gave her the best care of her little life.

I'm picturing a thought bubble over his upside down head that reads "Door. Open. Out. Geesh."

Poor Hobbes. Dramatics will get you nowhere except on a blog post.

Ha! Looks like the dead and decomposed cat pose. Maybe that's his Halloween costume.

Lin said...

Kathy--You aren't too far from wrong. You gotta hear his lame-o voice meowing in protest. He's pathetic.

Sharkey--I'm gonna dress him up as an ottoman. I'll bet nobody even notices. A little fringe around the bottom.....

There is something special about an orange tabby. I know because one use to own me. Hobbes looks just like my dear departed Baby. Sniff sniff. (weak smile).
