This weekend marks the end of Marching Season. And while I'm sad to see Em's Junior year quickly passing, I'm sort of glad to reclaim some of my personal time again.
Every season has its ups and downs and this one is no different, but it was still fun. It always is. And the second it is over, you are wishing it was starting up again. I'm not sure what I'm gonna do when this is over forever.
Well, I'll be back in action after this weekend. I'll be actually visiting and commenting on your blogs again, posting something interesting on my own, and relaxing. I can't wait.
I wonder what next year's show is gonna be....

-- the end of Marching Season; and Time keeps marching on.
Goodness that went fast! But that just brings me that much closer to putting up my Christmas tree... :)
Happy Saturday Lin!
xo Catherine
At least you'll never have to regret your involvement. Sad when it's over? No Doubt. Sorry it happened? No way.
Verif. Word = fablor
Time flies....
Only one more year of hauling those marimbas. Unless you sign up to do it professionally
Relaxing is good ...take the stress level down a notch or two...
I love marching band...I was never in band but I do hope Nicholas sticks long enough with his instrument to participate in the marching band in high school. He's playing in his middle school pep band for the football game on Monday; he's excited!
Seems like the season just started! I do hope you will have time to relax before the holidays get here!
That's a really short season! Our seasons always lasted until Thanksgiving weekend. That was a huge one for us as we had to perform at the school bonfire, the Thanksgiving game and our town's Christmas parade. Then our season was officially over. Up until then, every weekend we had a football game and or a competition. Four months out of the year, we ate, slept and breathed band!
Vanilla wrote what I was think...Sending hugs your way and wishes for a beautiful day ahead xo P.S> my husband was in the marching band when he was in school.
well that certainly went by fast. Now you can get a little rest before the crazy holiday stuff starts up :)
