- Lin
- I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days. I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up! I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

love that little taddie, whatever its gender-- been awhile since I checked your blog and am loving the way it looks. Now to delve into some of the posts I've missed:-) glad I stopped by.

Regarding crossing the line, been there and shot my career in the foot, actually totally severed my leg but I stuck to my principals. I worked for the governement for 32 years and watched them railroad good employees. When it came to a 30ish retired nurse who had been blown apart in vietnam I reached my limit. We were doing production work and everytime she'd have a seizure she'd basically forget everything she knew for a couple days. Rather than try to find her an easy clerk job they decided to fire her. The more they harassed her, the more seizures she had and finally I sat her down and helped her call her congressman. That was back in the days when calling your congressman actually did some good. The next day she had a new job and my career became just another job.
I'd love to be able to lay around and warm my body in the sunshine! That tadpole turned into a beauty!
Fat and lazy, frogs and I have a lot in common.
I know, I'm lame and haven't been here in umpteen years, and this is probably old news, BUT I love your blog design!!! The background is too fun!

Daisy--Isn't he?! I love how green they are in the summer. They are more brown in the cold weather.
Nancy--I always miss the frogs when the cold comes. And I worry about them because they move slower and can be eaten easier. :(

Beaded Tail--I love when the tadpoles blossom into big healthy frogs. I lose a few, but that is why I buy so many. It's good to see them all grown up!

Ann--Yeah, but marching season just began so I don't feel so bad about summer when that starts for us. And I love the colors and the cool crisp air....

All my flowers froze last night. I think summer is officially gone. :(
