Semi-Wordless Wednesday

Fall is coming--or so the frogs are telling me.  Sunshiney days are spent warming their bodies and hanging out by the sedum--where all the yummy butterflies, bumblebees and flies can be found. Every one of them are getting chubbier by the day.

And yes, this is one of this summer's taddies--he's a big boy (girl?) now.

Regarding crossing the line, been there and shot my career in the foot, actually totally severed my leg but I stuck to my principals. I worked for the governement for 32 years and watched them railroad good employees. When it came to a 30ish retired nurse who had been blown apart in vietnam I reached my limit. We were doing production work and everytime she'd have a seizure she'd basically forget everything she knew for a couple days. Rather than try to find her an easy clerk job they decided to fire her. The more they harassed her, the more seizures she had and finally I sat her down and helped her call her congressman. That was back in the days when calling your congressman actually did some good. The next day she had a new job and my career became just another job.

I'd love to be able to lay around and warm my body in the sunshine! That tadpole turned into a beauty!

I know, I'm lame and haven't been here in umpteen years, and this is probably old news, BUT I love your blog design!!! The background is too fun!

Love the foggies and so glad they're doing well :D
Thanks for the comment on my blog and for stopping by!

Cheers,
Jen

Grace--He is very cute. I love how they smile.

Duni--Yeah, it's getting chillier so they are making the most of the warm sunshine!

Chuck--He certainly did! And he's nice and fat from all the summer bugs. :)

Pinkpackrat--Hi, pally!!!I'm glad you stopped by too!

Melodie--He's not really warty, actually. He's more smooth and lovely. See his smile??? :)

Anne--Yep. He was crawling out to go get more bugs!

Daisy--Isn't he?! I love how green they are in the summer. They are more brown in the cold weather.

Nancy--I always miss the frogs when the cold comes. And I worry about them because they move slower and can be eaten easier. :(

DJ--I like that he just sat there and smiled for me. He is used to me, I guess.

Ozark Mtn Cats--But you did the right thing! I'm impressed that you did that and sacrificed your own career. What wienies!

Beaded Tail--I love when the tadpoles blossom into big healthy frogs. I lose a few, but that is why I buy so many. It's good to see them all grown up!

Casey--I like that they are always smiling. I think it's good be like that!

Jen--Oh, that's okay, pally! We all come and go. :) You can do that here, I don't mind. Come when you can. Good to hear from you!

Ann--Yeah, but marching season just began so I don't feel so bad about summer when that starts for us. And I love the colors and the cool crisp air....

Jean--Isn't he cute?! I think I need a better lens though.

Petula--I like that the frogs smile. :) I think they look happy too!

Yes, I see his winsome smile! LOL!

What?!! Is it still summer? I thought it was Fall already!

Did you read right? I said I'll be in the UK, not US!

Thank god my mother doesn't read your froggy blog. She'd have me out there in the pond gathering tadpoles to sell to all you frog lovers. From all the racket they make we must have a million of them.

Veronica Lee--Awww darn! I was hoping you had typed it in wrong. :(

Ozark Mtn Cats--I hope you know that come spring, I will be PAYING to have tadpoles shipped here! My favorite garden center just closed and along with that, my supply of taddies. :( Give me your mother's phone number!
