TGIF

Raise the roof--it's Friday!!

Here's wishing you all a chill-fest this weekend. We are gonna be packing Col up to go back to school (which I think he is none-too sad about),  Sammy the Weiner Dog is hiking his Weiner Dog butt over to our house for the week, and I'm going to channel my inner vacation self once again.

There is a slight chill in the air these days, whispering "fall is coming".  The katydids are clickin' and the grass is dewy--all signs that summer is on the wane.  Am I sad about that?  Nah.  While I'll miss the free feeling of summer, I'm ready for routine and marching season.

So, enjoy the summer weekends while you still can--there aren't many left. EEK!

Summer? Where?!!
We have gone from Spring straight to Fall. No summer here. I envy your daughter wearing shorts and sandals :)
She's really beautiful, btw!

I'm okay with that. I love fall-- until the snow flies; then, not so much.

OK...I don't want winter to come, but it's been so hot that this chill is a welcome relief. I *LOVE* having the windows open. MI camp starts on Tuesday. Not sure my son is prepared. He knows it's harder than HS band camp, but I think he's clueless on how much!

Hee. That picture is so funny. p.s. I saw a guy this morning with THAT Buddha gut. Enormous. I was actually scared for him. I'm so glad I'm a pear.

This morning's workout was so great. Patio door and windows open, nice cool breeze. We deserve a comfortable fall for that horrible summer. Good riddance!

I love the Buddha - such a happy guy.

Have fun. Enjoy it while you can.

Cute photo! We're finally enjoying summer here - sunny and high 70s, low 80s. I wish it could stay like this all year! Enjoy your weekend and your visit from Sammy!

The belleh on that Buddha reminds me of something. Oh yeah... my own belleh!

Back to the racoons. Did you see our friend Billy the exterminator this week? OMG I've never laughed so much in my life. It was a new episode with squirrels and racoon stars in it. I don't want to ruin it for you, but it was hilarious.

Have a great weekend!

Duni--Thanks, pally. I should have sent you some of our summer--we had too much of it! It was so darn hot here. Ugh.

Vanilla--I love fall too, but I do enjoy that first snow fall too. After that...not so much.

Diana--It's been great sleeping weather at night, hasn't it? So cool. :) I'm excited for your son!!! Let me know how it goes.

Melodie--This summer was too hot here, although not like yours I'm sure. While I like summer for the lack of a schedule, I don't like all that hot. Blech.

Betty--Criminy, I spent $500 at Target last night getting my kid ready to go back too. Ugh. I thought it was going to be cheaper this year!!

Kathy--Was that guy naked too??? EEEK. The weather here has been so nice lately--I love having the air conditioner off. I'm hoping that is the last of the super hot weather.

Pricilla--If I had room, I would have bought that Buddha for the yard--it's hilarious. Good for parties, I'm thinking. :)

Beaded Tail--That's what we've got here and it's LOVELY! I have the windows open and it's actually great for sleeping--but I don't want to get up in the mornings. The kitties are sure gonna be surprised when Sammy shows up!! Hee! Hee!

Daisy--Yeah, but yours is pink! Hahahaha!

Ozark Mtn Cats--I didn't see that episode, but I will watch for it. That guy is HILARIOUS!! Billy is always funny with the raccoons.

Ann--Didn't you just open your pool too?? Feels like it, doesn't it? Sigh.
