I just casually mention over the cubes at work yesterday that I haven't found any good YouTube videos lately. It seems like it sorta rains and pours when you find a good one, but lately, we've been in a drought.
Well, the next thing you know, I've got Irene standing next to me with her phone, firing up video after video, cracking me up at my desk. I think we might have found a new feature here: Irene's YouTube Picks--otherwise known as "Let's do anything besides work today".
Today's feature is about summer fashions. Tune in, turn it up, and enjoy.
And then she pimped out my orthopedic shoe with some glitter. Yeah, Irene's good like that.

I've got it goin'. I never wear sandals without socks. (Mostly, I never wear sandals.)
and here all this time I thought socks with sandals was just dorky looking. I guess I know nothing about fashion :) I want to see a picture of the glitter shoe

Babeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! I'm finally hip! I'm in with the in crowd!!! (finally). Although the black socks with tan sandals are tacky. I wear only white.
Want to see ortho shoe with and without socks. Let us then take a vote. Now that I'm 100 years old, I can get away with socks and sandals.

i no longer consider fashion a vocabulary word. socks with sandals are comfortable.
Helene--I actually showed those to Irene, so you can blame me, Helene. Irene is trying to find you GOOD stuff. :)
Vanilla--Only to the pool, says Joe. I once made him get a pedicure if he was going to wear sandals. He hasn't worn them since. (although he did admit to enjoying the pedicure)
Ann--(shhhhhh--it IS dorky looking!) I'm torn between hating the shoe after 4 weeks and loving Irene for spiffing it up. I'm hoping this is the last of it this week!
Grace--BTW--I wear a sock with my glittery shoe. :)
Rebecca--I see the white socks with sandals all the time--but I still can't say I like the look. But I'm sure it is great on you! ;)
Anita's Mom--I've worn a sock the entire 4 weeks with that thing so it wouldn't stink. Now I'm just DONE with it. Ugh. Hope to get it off this week. I'm still mixed on the socks and sandals thing, Marie.
Diana--Maybe YOU are the one who started the socks/sandals craze! Irene was gonna go nuts on the shoe, but I had to make her restrain herself. I still have to wear it in public.
Grace--Yeah--do you like it?? Diana did it for me this week. It was a very long week for her. :) It's kind of the same, but spiffed up.
