- I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days. I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up! I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

You are so, so lucky....I would love to be hanging out a the beach today. I'd be sitting and reading...all day...with a cooler full of yummy cold drinks by my side.... ;)

Just getting to the reading now myself. Spent the day outside enjoying in the sunshine

Karen--It was hot and sunny--a good day to stick your feet in the sand and then the cool water. Repeat. :)
A.Marie--I love the beach because I'm not guilty about the computer, the blog, laundry or any other work around the house. It was nice to just shut down for the day. I hope you had fun with your book and your cooler.
Vanilla--Yeah. :) I'm still finding sand!
Jodi--Don't you just love the beach? Well, except for all that darn sand, I mean.
Cute--I think we all got that call. Geesh, it was CROWDED!
Pricilla--Oh, that does not sound nearly as fun as the beach. :( I'll save ya some sand.
Helene--Yeah, the "heat". ;) We went up to South Haven for the day. Gees, so did everyone else!
Beaded Tail--It was nice. :) Wish we had more time there.
Anne--Bummer! That is the one thing about where we live--we can be out in the country or at the beach in an hour. It's a nice escape hatch. Hope it dried out for the 4th!
Sharkey--You got our weather from the day before. It was cooler on Sunday -- 80 degrees and breezy. Perfect beach weather!
Ann--I think we invited EVERYONE to go along as all the beaches were packed! Ugh. But it was still fun. How nice that you have your pool to relax in right in your own yard!
Marilynne--It was packed at the beach, but it was still fun to go. I like the beach we go to--everyone is "normal" and not a lot of bathing beauties. :)
Veronica Lee--They aren't as lovely as your beaches, but it's still fun to go. I like to people watch too. It's hilarious.
Marg--It was fun, Marg! Lots of people to watch and nice weather. I need another day at the beach. Sigh.
Chuck--Oh, it was nice to take the weekend off. It's hard to get back to work again. :(
DJ--The fireworks haven't been too bad--but I leave the air conditioning on so the kitties don't get scared. I hope your 4th was good too!
