That's a smile? It looks like me on most days. Yesterday Alex saw ants where he left his popsicle sticks. I said step on them. He said "they don't want to die, gwamma!"
Helene--I think they smile--kinda like Mona Lisa I think. Good for Alex saving the bugs. :)
Vanilla--I heard a frog singing last night and it woke me up because I get so excited to hear it again! I love the having the windows open and the frogs singing. :) Life is good!
Three frogs? Are they all from last year--and does one have a crooked leg? Want to add some beautiful turtles? I saw some beauties at the shelter today just waiting for a new home (pond).
Anne--It finally got warm and sunny here--we are all smiling!
Grace--I love Daisy--she's so funny! I dunno, I just think they smile. Maybe I'm wishful thinking.
Betty--Nope. They don't get hats or names. No getting attached, Betty. A wise reptile store guy once said "They have wee brains and long legs--not a good mix". Sigh. How right he is. I don't get attached to them because too many things happen to them. :(
Casey--Fortunately, they hop into the water at the sight of us AND the cats. I think that is what keeps them safe and alive.
Pricilla--Isn't she funny?! :)
Jean--He's happy that it is finally warm and sunny! I liked Daisy's comment too. :)
Nancy--I think one of the three is the guy I brought in recently. I swear it is him. AND I heard somebody croaking in the wee hours this morning. It was a good thing to hear. :)
Ratty--Yeah, but there were 8 going into winter. It's weird--they come and go so much.
Ann--We are ALL laughing with Daisy today!
Phyl--I don't see that guy, but he may be around. When there are big frogs, little ones tend to hide. I realized this when I relocated one giant bullfrog. When we came home, there were 8 very happy little ones all around the pond. Never knew I had them. NO TURTLES! They eat lilies and fish.
Sharkey--Probably did! They are getting really fat these days!
I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days.
I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up!
I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

Do you know why frogs are always happy? Because they eat whatever bugs them! That frog better not sit there too long or he could get toad away...

Oh, Daisy!
Ah, that wonderful time of year when one can sleep with the windows open. So my question is, Do the frogs interfere with the sleeping?
Now that is ribbiting . . . :)
Yup ~ that looks like a smile to me!!! :)

Catherine--Thanks, for humoring me, pally. :)
He looks pretty self-satisfied. I guess he is having a successful, froggy day.
Daisy cracked me up! Frog looks a tad grump to me but I could be projecting...

Awwwww... when you are going to make them little hats to wear, Frog Lady?
He's a cutie. Better warn him to stay away from here or the kids will get them. They have been torturing the lizards with their water squirters.....
Daisy is funny! As for the frog, it's not quite a Sadie smile but it is a smile!
Daisy! She is very punny
Hot Dog that is a happy Frog!!!:-D)
PS...I loved Daisy's comment.LOL!
Yay for Three!!!
He looks like he's patronizing you though. Those frogs will do that, watch out!
three looks like a pretty good count. I remember when it has been one.
Looks like Daisy is on a roll with the funnies today. I think I even heard that frog laughing

He looks a tad bit grouchy! But if he's smiling, then, I love his smile! (Is it a he?)
Aww!! And such a sweet smile too! How can anyone say a frog is ugly?!!!
Happy Friday, Lin!
My kids always bulk at me when someone asks "how are you?" and I reply "finer than frog hair."
Which is probably your frog is smiling ... he's feeling finer than his frog hair!
ribbit!Hugs and Happy Friday!
