Anywho, I'm recapping a graduation party of last weekend that Wen had to miss out on. I tell her all the fun parts and how much we missed her and Steve, when, I casually mention a certain Mr. Cuddles.
"Oh, isn't that Adam's fish?" she asks.
"It was. Now it is our fish." I tell her solemnly, and somewhat grumpily.
"Oh." she stops, "Weren't you 'done' with fish?" she steps lightly into touchy territory.
Yeah. I was.
Mr. Cuddles? Oh, he's having one heck of a good time hanging with the minnows. Ugh.

I didn't think that sleeping with the fish was a good thing. Or am I wrong?

Daisy--He apparently passed the test that the minnows have to be "one of them". It's like they are a gang or something down there in the water. No trouble yet....but you never know.
Chuck--I dunno, he seems happy. He swims with minnows--I think he feels at home. If Mr. Cuddles is happy, then I'm happy.
Vanilla--Nope. She doesn't care about fish or frogs and such. But that is what I love about my kitties--they are good like that. I would be mortified if they ate someone.
Catherine--I don't mind Mr. Cuddles now, but come fall when he's gonna have to come inside for winter....ugh. I wonder if he can stay out with the minnows???
Katnip Lounge--I take no credit for that name--although I do like it. I mean, who has a fish named "Mr. Cuddles"?? It's like it was meant to be that he lives here. :) I LOVE the word verif. today! Hee! Hee!

It's sad that our happiness rides on those around us, isn't it? Including fish.
Grace--It is yours to use. I think you and Grace are a lot alike. :) And that is a GOOD thing!
Pricilla--Nope. He loves the minnows now--they are HUGE friends. :)
Jean--I have never seen the frogs eat the fish, but I'll bet they do. My frogs seem to really like birds better. Sigh.
Ann--My kitties pay absolutely no attention to the fish, believe it or not. Even when they are in the house. Isn't that weird?
A fish called Mr. Cuddles? I think I heard that name before. :)
Hope Mr. Cuddles doesn't eat much and at least pays a small portion of his rent.
