Can you reveal your secret? How can Hobbes be both an indoor cat AND an outdoor cat? Doesn't he get fleas or ticks? I can't stand parasites, so our cats are either IN or OUT, not both. How do you guys manage both?
You capured Hobbs perfectly. He's such a happy and contented kitty and makes me want to join him under Helene's "nature's blanket". You're fortunate to have such a nice cat, and he's pretty lucky to live at your house. Phyl
Vanilla--Nothing like nappin' out in the yard! I wish I fit under the hostas.
Tracy--Oh, the loss of Jack is so darn sad. I kept thinking of his poor family today. I hope Jack is with your kitty.
Helene--He's soooo happy out there. :)
Veronica--No kidding. I don't know how he just relaxes out there like that. He's so silly. :)
Highway--He's waiting for those hostas to grow so he can enjoy the shade. Then he can nap out there all day!
Jodi--Me too!
Duni--What is with that??! Well, I guess all those sounds can be scary if you aren't used to it. Hobbes LOVES it out there!
Hot Rocks--He goes out to nap all day if he can. And when I look for him, I just peek under all the hostas until I find orange stripes. :)
Rebecca--We don't have problems with either for some reason. We live in suburbia, maybe that is why. And he isn't out there all the time--only when we are home.
Nancy--Doesn't he look comfy?? Dang. If only I could fit under the hostas!!
Jennifer--Me too. He looks so darn happy, doesn't he?
Chuck--No kidding! Hobbes leads a good life.
Anne--I wanna live like Hobbes!
Grace--:)
Beaded Tail--Don't ya just wanna smooch his head??! :)
Pricilla--He loves outside, but if the neighbor or the lawn mower comes out--he's back in!
Ann--We should all live like Hobbes!
Daisy--It is! And Grace is happy with him gone outside. :) Everyone is happy for once.
Phyl--He's such a goofball. Half the time I think he is dead out there!
Sharkey--He is so content out there, which is weird for a cat. Usually they are a little scared. Not Hobbes! Hey, Sharkey--did you see yesterday's post? I had a heron in my pond!! EEEK!
I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days.
I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up!
I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

I've never seen a more contented cat!
Happy Thursday, Lin!
Sounds like a good plan Hobbs, a little nap in the sun.
If you are looking for me...
I'm inside.
I wanna be outside.
Aww...so cute.
My Sammy is the only cat I know that I have to cajole to go outside for some fresh air. Weird huh?
How cute is that! He certainly looks at home in his natural habitat!
