My two favorite guys--Col and Taylor Terry!
It's hard to believe that they have one year of college under their belts already. Seems like yesterday and forever that we were saying good-bye to them. While it seems fast on one hand, it also seemed like eternity that they were gone.
Taylor is like one of the family 'round here. He comes over to help me with Photoshop and makes me laugh by inserting extra heads and wacky eyeballs on people in photos. He's always game for whatever wackiness is going on at the moment and will come over to hang out, even if his cat allergy makes his nose bleed. You gotta love that.
And the best part?
Well, other than the fact that he reads the Duck and Wheel every day.....
he loves waders!
I'm just glad that Colin and Taylor are both home again. It's been a long school year without them here to make me laugh.

Happiness!
Nothing says loves like staying around to help out a friend until your nose bleeds.
Glad your boys are back.
When I first looked at the photo, I couldn't tell who's who! They look so alike! They can pass off as brothers.
Enjoy your time with them, Lin!
A happy Mom is a Mom with her kids home!
Let me know how the merging back into the family works? I remember when Alee came home after her first year of college...she had a struggle having her new found independance tamed by family rules. It was ugly for a while.
WOW...that's a large rubber!
Ah . . . life is good!
A full nest again!!! Yeah!!! Enjoy your boys.
I'm sure you are beyond thrilled.
Will Colin be working this summer?
YESSSS!!! About time I got some recognition at the Duck and Wheel. Good to see you yesterday. -- Taylor Terry
Yeah! Congrats on the 1st year, I can't even imagine my guy having been in college for a whole year.
Enjoy your time together!
Taylor sounds like a great kid if he enjoys the Duck and the Wheel so much! Glad both he and Col are home for the summer!
Wow, how cool he reads your blog every day. I can't even get my own kids to read mine EVERY day. Actually I don't think my son ever reads it but my daughter does sometimes
Anybuddy who loves waders has to be a good guy!
moving dirt is also an endearing quality.
Vanilla--Yeah! You know!
Highway--It's good to have a full house again. :)
Veronica--I never realized that they look alike!
Grace--Yeah, I like a full house! Although the mess I can do without. Ugh.
Jodi--Yeah, I think our first blow-up was an hour into his being at home. We all had to adjust...and QUICK!
Diana--Hahaha! We all took turns putting the waders on and going into the pond. We are such losers!! :)
Chuck--yeah. :)
Betty--It's funny how you miss other kids too. Nobody tells you that part!
Pricilla--I hope he works! He's looking for a job now, but he is also taking a class this summer. And he works all school year, so if he doesn't find something now, we know that he has a job at school when he goes back. I think he may just need to chill for a bit too. Do you want a farm hand for a few weeks??? :)I'll send him out when we tire of each other.
Taylor Terry--Oh, Taylor Terry, I'm glad you are home! Next is the BBQ with your family. :)
DJ--That year went fast--along with my money!
Beaded Tail--Isn't that funny that he reads the Duck and Wheel? I don't think MY kids do that!
Ann--My kids don't read mine either. And I ask them ALL the time if they do. Half of the time, they don't think I'm funny. Sheesh.
Daisy--Waders are FUN! Especially when you put them on and sit in the pond. It's the little things that make us laugh, Daisy. :)
Sharkey--Taylor and Colin were moving the flagstone and rocks in the waterfall that day. We had one kid in the water with the waders on lifting the rocks--they were so darn heavy! Thank goodness for them--the waterfall is shored up again. Whew!
Nope, he doesn't look as good in them as you do.
Fish--That's cuz he's not a girl!
Awh- enjoy them!!!
