I wasn't going to post the dress, but heck, I think everyone in the western world has seen it already. It's just too pretty not to share. Not that I'm partial or anything.....
So, while I'm all excited about pink cotton candy dresses and sparkly shoes, I am bummin' over the phone call yesterday that informed me that my Photoshop class was canceled. Criminy. Here I was, all scammin' the college to get registered under my maiden name and the darn class gets canceled! Maybe they knew something was wrong with that class list. Hmmmmm....
Some people just ruin all my fun. :(

Awesome dress! Sorry to hear about your class. That really sux.
Lola's Diner
No bias; the girl and the dress are gorgeous.
I think you are right, though. That "scammin'" thing prolly jinxed the class. Sorry.
Stripey Cat Designs-I love it!
Stunning dress and so glad we didn't have to wait until prom night to see it. Pretty stunning girl there too. I never looked like that in high school. 34 years later I still don't.
WOW~ super fancy and very pretty!
WOW!!!! I love, love, love the gown and the gorgeous girl wearing it.
Beautiful!!!
So gorgeous in pink and the gown is beautiful. Well, you can always take another class??? Something similar?
Beautiful dress! I hope she has a BLAST!
Yeppers...you jinxed the class all right!!! LOL
That dress is amazing!!!!
Very pretty indeed!
A beautiful dress for a beautiful young lady. Nice!
Sorry about your class. FWIW, I've learned a lot through the online help screens. Still a class would be more systematic about teaching you capabilities and techniques.
As I said, she looks like a princess...
I'm sorry about your class. That's a real bummer
Lola--I'm so sad. :( I hope they offer it again because that 2 inch book is so darn confusing!
Vanilla--:( Rats.
Helene--I'm trying to imprint my photos but I don't really want to put our info out there by advertising with the blog name. The world is weird, you know? I never looked that good either, Helene.
Diana--Thanks. :) We are sooo excited!
Veronica--I can't wait to see her done up! Can it get fancier???!
Chocolate--I hope they offer the class again. :( I'm so sad. Somebody said she looks like cotton candy--I have to agree.
Sherrie--Thanks! Yeah, I hope she has fun too. She has a great group of kids going together.
A. Marie--:( I'm so sad about the class. I was really waiting to hear my old name again....
Grace--:) Thanks, pally.
Chuck--It's just going to take so much longer for me to learn it and time is NOT what I have. :(
Pricilla--I'll bet that dress would be tasty, Pricilla!! ;)
Your daughter is lovely.
Thanks for posting a picture of the dress. I did wonder what was so compelling that you would spend your life savings on. I know, it's for the kids.
;)
Seriously....she is your twin! SO cute! LOVE the long perfect dress!
You have to go to college to learn photoshop? Oh man...I was hoping to just buy photoshop for dummies. sigh. I can't go back to school...noooooooo!
Ohh, I love it! I had a similarly colored dress for an 8th grade dance but mine was just dorky. Em pulls off pink very well.
BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS, SPECTACULAR!!!Oh...it's the dress I am suppose to be commenting on? I was commenting on my favorite girl IN the dress! She's going to be the bell of the ball! She looks radiant! The dress is perfect for her...beautiful selection!
Wen
Emma is gorgeous. She will have a wonderful time :D
I think I am driving over to your house to lock you up for the amount of money I think you paid for that pretty pretty pink dress--from my internet search of Peaches. GIRL FRIEND WHAT WERE YOU THINKING???!!!!
Oooh, so pretty! It is just the perfect shade of pink, too.
The dress is gorgeous. She looks fabulous
that is just not right about that class especially after all you went through. You just come on over here and I'll teach you for free :)
Rebecca--Thanks, pally. The cost is a debate amongst parents these days, but I will tell you the place was JAMMED. I guess it's crazy, but at least I wasn't alone in the madness.
peewee--I fell in love with that dress--it's just so feminine. :) It's been fun putting it all together. I have a book, but it is hard to figure out, so I am hoping to have someone show me how to use it. Ugh.
Casey--It goes well with her skin tone and blond hair. It was either a very sexy dress or the ball gown--I think for her age this was perfect.
Wen--Second only to Linnea!! I can't wait for these two beauties to stun the crowd!! They are gonna have sooooo much fun!!
Merry--Thanks, pally. I hope she has fun too. The group of kids she is going with is great!
Jodi--So, I struggled with my decision to spend that too, but in the end, I don't smoke, gamble, or take lavish vacations. I work for money to do things like this in a rare moon and I did. Well, me and everyone else I know did too. I guess we are all overcome by glitter!
Daisy--Thanks, pally. She looks very appropriate for her age--some of those dresses are CRAZY!
Ann--Thanks, Ann. She is soooo excited. It's fun to dress her up. I'm bummin' about the class. I'm going to have to find another one somewhere else or I'm coming over to visit with you and Duke!
I so glad tiers and lovely layer of taffeta is back in and the slut look it out. I love this gown.
Em looks beautiful in her prom dress! Her date is one lucky guy!
Sorry about your class being cancelled. Too bad Ann can't give you lessons somehow.
Very fluffy- not furry at all. Sorry about the class.
Wow....now THAT'S a prom dress! I have been so dissapointed in the h.s. girls I've seen in their prom dresses since mine- they seem to be getting shorter and, well, less "prom-y". But this one is simply amazing! No wonder you were complaining that it took your whole bonus!!!
Maybe they only told you that they canceled the class because they found you out! Wouldn't that be weird?!? Hehe.
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a wonderful comment on Blueviolet's post. This is quite a dress.
Highway--Well, the slut look is still out there, but Em thankfully chose the princess look instead. :) I gladly handed over the cash for this look.
Beaded Tail--Thanks--that's what I said! He was so scared to ask her, but I'll bet he is glad now. :) yeah, I'm bummin' about my class. I need help!
Sharky--We have a slip coming yet to make it fluffier still! She's gonna look like a giant cotton candy!
Nancy--There are many looks out there and none of them are inexpensive. I nearly choked at the price even at JC Penneys! There were adorable short dresses there, but none of the girls were trying them on. They were going for the super flashy with cut-outs or ball gowns. Quite the extreme. I'm really hoping they don't refund my class with a check in my maiden name. Ugh.
Wowzer!! That is some dress! Lucky girl to have such a generous Mom.
Hot Rocks--You should see the dresses these days--YIKES! I guess I'll be working overtime. :)
Gorgeous!
Lin, you better start fund raising now cause you got two more proms to go...and no girl wears the same dress twice. LOL
Wait I think I need to come up there and help you next year--to pinch the pennies.
