W is for Wednesday and Winning

You know what is scary? That I actually know the words to this song:

Don't ask me why I'm on a "W" kick here today, I just am.

But I am also a Winning roll too! Look at the spiffy stuff I won on some pally's blogs lately. What else could a gal love more than make-up and chocolate???!

Here's the major award from Lola's (Lola's Diner)--Green & Black's Organic chocolate.. YUM!

OMG. This is the BEST chocolate I have ever eaten. NOT kidding. Click on Lola's link to read more about it, but this stuff is to die for. I'm telling you--it went FAST at our house. In fact, a couple of these wrappers are empty, but I saved them for the photo.

I'd buy this stuff over any other chocolate. Really--and I'm not getting paid or anything for saying that. I just ate the stuff.

Thank you, Lola!! Sorry I'm so freaking late in posting how much I loved that win.

And the excitement continues with a win of make-up over at Tracy's (The Crazy Suburban Mom):

Wow. I'm soooo digging these color palettes. The mailman no sooner delivered these bad boys (in one piece, I might add) and Em and I were cracking them open and doing our eyes. Okay, so we looked a little ridiculous with one eye each of the colors, but we couldn't wait to try them!

I love how it is a no-brainer to figure out what colors to use together. And while the yellow is a bit bright, I love how it is toned down by the blues. I was already at Walgreen's checking out additional palettes because I love the color combinations of the Wet N Wilds.

So, now Em and I are fighting (a lot)--over make-up. She's lucky I share like a big girl.

My favorite part of the Big Win is that it came from Tracy and GINGER! I love Ginger. Well, and Tracy too. Thank you, Tracy and Ginger!!!

So cool! Congrats!
The chocolate, especially the almond, sounds yummy. I like that it's organic.
Ginger looks adorable!

Well, congrats on all the winning! Just don't get the two products mixed up now....could be bad news.

You are lucky.

I have no opinion about the letter "w" - and Sesame Street has got to be the most annoying thing on the planet aside from the Teletubbies. I'm glad they didn't have educational tv when I was a kid - well there was Mr. Wizard and John Nagy teaching how to draw. Romper Room and Ding Dong School were a teeny bit after my time (Romper Room was annoying - my younger brother watched it). Personally I leaned toward Gerald McBoing Boing

I love chocolate and make-up! "Winning" is a great word. Too too bad that it has been over used by you-know-who lately.

Bert and Ernie, Bert and Ernie! Our favorites!

Glad you had a chance to try these. I have mine VERY hidden. Especially since my son always is sniffing out chocolate. And really, if his idea of great chocolate is Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, then he has no business chowing down on these. Lol!

why oh why am I listening to that video...lol
Cool prizes. I could go for some chocolate. I'm not big on make up though. Seeing as how I'm stuck in the back of the store in my own little corner with a hat shoved on my head and hardly anyone sees me I figure why bother

Catherine--Ooooh, it is really good, pally. And I'm not typically a chocolate eater.

Duni--I was very excited to win--and TWICE yet!! wooohoooo! The almond had full almonds--no pieces. And yes, Ginger is adorable. She is my dog friend. :)

Chuck--Wah, wah, wah, wah! I'm guessing you are a W Lover too. :)

Betty--Hahaha! So, I can't wear chocolate on my eyelids??? Bummer.

Pricilla--Make-up AND chocolate! It's just so darn GIRLY! :)

Grace--Grace, are you hatin' on Bert?? He's like the greatest curmudgeon EVER. I'm surprised that you don't like him. :( Bummer. So, you aren't gonna sing the W Lovers song with me???? ;)

Jean--Who? Sheen? I'm not paying any attention to that dude. All that I know is what I hear as I'm turning the dial.

Daisy--I know! They are my favorites too--both the original AND your Bert and Ernie. They are VERY cute!

Lola--No kidding! He will not appreciate how good this chocolate is! I mean...it is REALLY good!!

Ann--Wah, wah, wah, wah! Thanks for humoring me, Ann. I love that song and just the fact that I know the words from so very long ago. I wear make-up all the time now--it's not so pretty without it anymore.

Jodi--Did you give up Make-up???? :p

Nancy--I AM lucky because I don't even join those giveaways much. But the ones I have won (like your change purse) are FAB!

That chocolate sounds like something I need! Congratulations on your great winnings! Ginger is a cutie!

So Bert is the name of the character in the video and he is supposed to be a curmudgeon? News to me, honey!

You got my attention the minute you mentioned chocolate!

The eye colors are beautiful. Now, if only you would've gotten a shot of your multi-colored eye experiments.

Wow, you are winning! Is Joe jealous of you stealing his winning streak?

I'm totally showing Graham this video when he gets home. W is the letter of the week but he missed show and tell on Wed since he was home sick. This'll cheer him up!

Next week is Xray and he's bringing my dad's MRI scans of his spine. Ha.

Now I'm hearing wuh wuh wuh wuhhhhhhhhhh.

Beaded Tail--Oh, gees, Sharla--you have to find that stuff. I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but this was REALLY good.

Grace--Well, he's more of a straight man for Ernie's shenanigans, but I see him as grumpy for the most part. I think curmudgeons break out into song sometimes, don't they?

Chocolate--Oh, it was NOT pretty, so we didn't take photos of the eyes. It was a mad rush to get them open and get it on the eyes--while we were eating chocolate. :)

Casey--I love this song. It's especially nice to sing around your teens to make their eyes roll. :) I hope Graham enjoyed it. I also have a favorite Letter "L" song too, believe it or not.
