Uh, how come only Casey noticed my wacky beaver face on Monday's post?? Okay, so you had to enlarge it a bit to really appreciate my portrayal of a beaver, but it is there--right next to Baby Emma as "The Goose" and Colin as "The Tiger". We are one talented family.
Maybe you saw it and thought I really looked like that. Maybe you just didn't think it was funny. Or perhaps you were just wondering how long my kids are gonna be in therapy after having me as a mom.
Be sure to stop by Pricilla's blog today. Grace (my cat) has a guest post. Seems the goats of Happy Goats Farm needed a break and the cats took over. There have been special posts by all sorts of famous blogging kitties over there--Sparkle and Daisy are a few. Grace is in good company, eh? And for a change, it isn't Hobbes getting all the attention. Go, Grace!
Today's chuckle:

Grace's post makes up for yesterday!
Love her baby pic and the one of her and Hobbes is priceless! She tells the REAL story there. Love your sink too.
Grace is such a pretty cat! She did a great guest post. One of my daughter's cats swipes and hisses at the other two cats, and they like to taunt her because of it.
Hooray for snowdrops!!! (Though I've never seen any in real life....)
I will go check out Miss Grace ASAP!
And sometimes I have felt like that lady bug! :(
xo Catherine
Wish I had snowdrops in the garden. They're soooo sweet!
Di
hoorah for spring flowers! grace wrote a catstacular post, for sure.
"it will you do on a hey you cotton picker while you cat cease." As I prepared to write a comment, Midnight crawled up on a computer speaker and sent things tumbling. My voice recognition software picked up part of my conversation with him.
Love those spring flowers.
Verif Word = hortign
I am going to use these beautiful Spring is sprung photos on Monday to lift me up...weather man said "Monday rain turning to snow, low of 28* overnight". It sh*+ like that that kills srung flowers!
Sherpa thanks Grace for visiting. So do I.
It's been a fun Event for sure.
Can't wait to read Grace's post! Oh yeah, yours was nice too, but I really want to hear from your cat....
Oh...that was sad. But kind of cute too. I guess if I were a lady bug, that would be what would happen to me. I did notice your beaver face f.y.i. BUT I do have to say...it was a subtle beaver face. Of the type where you couldn't be sure if you were meaning to do it or just caught at the wrong moment. Off to see what grace has to say:)
Ummm - some of us did notice but we love you too much to say anything {{Hugz}}
Grace done good! I loved learning more about her.
Pricilla's post on Grace was really sweet. Grace is her own gal and doesn't play the "aint I cute game"--just "take me as I am". I can understand that as Phoebe is the same, and it makes me love her even more. Yep, if we wait long enough forever pets let us know how special they are. Phyl
I noticed but it looked perfectly normal to me...lol
I had snowdrops this morning but they were the cold wet heavy kind and they were spread all over my car and the ground
OK, Lin...I am VERY jealous of that snowdrop bloom! I am still looking at 3 feet of snow out my window, and there are NO snowdrops to be seen!
Your snowdrop looks like a white bug that succeeded in flying!
I loved Grace's post and think she needs to post more over here at the Duck and Wheel!
I noticed the beaver and even noticed that there was a missing Joe-y! :)
Helene--Grace was here long before the blog, so I think her story has never been told. We named her "Grace" because she eased our hearts after losing our dear Molly. It was nice to feature her for a change.
Violet--Yeah, Grace doesn't like other kitties, but she does enjoy a good chase every so often. And she instigates it some times too!
Catherine--I have felt like that lady bug too and that is what makes it so funny. I think there are points for trying, right?
Snappy Di--Hi, new pally! This is my first year with snowdrops. I love that they come up when it is still cold and icky. It is a nice sign of spring. :)
Vanilla--No crocus yet, Vanilla. I'm beginning to wonder if they ever will. Sigh. It was fun to feature Grace for a change. :)
Chuck--Hahaha! At least you weren't cussin'!
Jodi--Well, they call these snowdrops for a reason--they can handle the cold and snow! I guess we'll find out for sure tomorrow. :(
Pricilla--I've had a ton of fun reading all those cat posts! What a fun idea you had. Grace liked it too.
Betty--I think if Grace could really write what she thinks there would be a lot of cussin'. :) I don't see her talking all sweet-like for some reason.
Nancy--I can't believe that ladybugs fall like that!! It cracked me up. Rats. I thought my beaver face stood out. Maybe it was my beaver tail that distracted everyone. Sigh.
Grace--Awwww, thanks Grace. :)
Daisy--I think you and Grace are very much alike--except she will not wear cute clothes like you do.
Phyl--Grace is very special, but she doesn't need all the attention that Hobbes does. I guess that is what I like about her--she is a little more subtle with her love.
Ann--Hahaha! Yeah, I need braces on those teeth, I guess. :) We are getting snow on our snowdrops tomorrow. Booooo!
Hot Rocks--We are getting snow tomorrow, so I hope my little snowdrops will be okay. It sure is nice to see some kind of flower coming up! I'm glad I planted them in the fall.
Sharky--Good eye, Sharky!! I didn't even notice that!! :)
Beaded Tail--He was busy "taking the photo". Yeah/no. Sometimes he can be a stick in the mud. Wasn't it nice to feature Grace for a change?? I thought so. :)
It's about time Grace got her due! I love Hobbes but he is a teensy bit of a showoff.
I think snowdrops are so lovely and ethereal. Alas, I've never actually seen one in person, just in pretty photographs such as yours.
Sparkle--Hi, Sparkle! I'm glad you stopped by. :) Hobbes is all about attention and of course, I give it to him. Grace, well, she's sort of subtle about things and that is what I love most about her.
jehara--They are tiny--much more so than they appear in photos. This is my first year planting these--and I'm really glad I did, they are really sweet.
I guess I'm just perceptive like that. Wow, Grace is guest posting? She is one clever cat!
