Semi-Wordless Wednesday

Guess who's back from a stay at Happy Raccoon Village? If you answered "opossum" you answered incorrectly.

Sigh.

There's only one.....for now.

Oh oh ~ well it's a sure sign of spring at least! One must always look for the sunny side of life! ;)

Happy early trapping season!

And happy last Wednesday of winter.

I remember the first installation of this story!!! I had no idea there would be a sequel. (Running to get my popcorn and get ready for the show....)

Oh no! It's Rory . . . :(

My neighbor has squirrels in his walls cos he won't fix his roof and now has holes in the overhang thing. It's looking like rural south by me with all the patches.

But still not as good as the multi raccoons in my bosses' house last summer(through the chimney) which turned into a scene from My Cousin Vinny.

Yay the first signs of Spring! :-)

Yup, yup must be Spring where you live - batten down the trash cans.

He must not have got the memo to stay out of your pond.

Don't ya just love spring :)

Oh no!!! Maybe he came back and saw your house and went back to his family and said, "Guess who's back? It's that damn lady with her house in our yard." Hehehe....causing trouble again:)

Occasionally one discovers my feeders. Baffles work better for them than squirrels. Hey...remember...they do not know how to look both ways before crossing a road. Don't know if I am happy about that...but that is the truth. (weak smile)

Catherine--Ugh. I don't see the sunny side of this one. I'm still scarred by my experience last fall and I was hoping this was over. Guess not.

Vanilla--My heart sunk when I spied it in my feeder last night. And it sunk even more as I tried scaring it away and it wouldn't budge. I'm not too optimistic that there is a sunny side on this one.

Pricilla--Yeah, and water too, unfortunately.

Jodi--I'm not sure we are trapping yet. We have to see if he is a trouble-maker first.

Betty--Yeah, well, I was hoping there was NO sequel. :(

Chuck--Yeah, I'm not happy about this, Chuck. My heart sank with seeing him in my feeder last night.

Helene--Can I send this guy over to your boss's house????

Grace--They can't get in the new trash cans, hence the problem last year. I'm more worried about my pond and my kitties.

Beaded Tail--Or he was wiley enough to not get trapped last fall. Ugh.

Ann--Nope, not with this sighting. I don't like baby bird season either--too much death.

Nancy--Hehehe. Okay, so I had to chuckle at that one. I'm really hoping there is no "family" or we are in big trouble.

Jean--I don't care about the feeder --it is the pond and my frogs that I worry about. They ate all my fish last year, but I don't want them killing the frogs or hurting the kitties. Damn things.

Lin, when has a coon never not been a trouble maker?!

Sharkbytes said...

What? They're not all dead in the road?

Lin said...

Jodi--We've actually had peaceful coons in the past. I'm hoping we can co-exist peacefully with this guy.

Sharky--Nope. And apparently they all didn't go to Happy Raccoon Village either. Sigh.

Ugh! Well at least you don't have skunks in your basement like my ex ptr has. I think it's rather fitting though...don't you?

Did you catch him already? Maybe he just needs to find his love muffin so he can ride away into the sunset??

Let Grace loose on his ass. Girlfriend won't take his shit.

I need to borrow that contraption to catch the squirrel family taking up residence in our attic!

Lin said...

Lola--(snicker) Well, that's what you call karma. :)

Chocolate--Nope--I don't want to trap by ourselves because then you have to deal with an angry raccoon by ourselves. And you have to drive them VERY far away or they return--like 35 miles. Personally, I don't want to drive a pooping/angry raccoon for 45 minutes in my van. I hope he moves on by himself.

Casey--I think the kitties would lose that battle and that is what worries me. I don't want them running into that bad boy.

Lynne--Oh, you can get smaller traps at the local hardware store for them. Get him now before he eats your wires and such. They can be very destructive--darn things!

Ugh... we now have a skunk problem, much harder to trap and get rid of:(
