Nice, eh?It was absolutely pouring outside, so we dragged our feet getting what we needed. We perused the aisles for anything hilarious to make each other laugh. And laugh we did.
We went for cellophane bags and ended up with candy bracelets, a pink party hat, a retirement piggy bank that grows in water, and alien pop-up toys. We cracked up in every aisle, to where the employees were laughing along with us.
Although I think they were secretly relieved when we left.
Again, G'ma Phyl started it--Em and I just joined in. Three generations of wackiness.

I used to toss groceries into the shopping cart... that was all the way at the other end of the aisle. It was one of the kids' jobs to "catch" the item with the cart, as my throwing arm has degraded somewhat over the years.

Now how fun is that. I can't see me ever going shopping with my mom and having that much fun. My daughter maybe. But then again when I try to have fun while shopping with my daughter she usually rolls her eyes at me :)
That looks like some fun shopping! You are blessed to still have your mom to do fun things like this with. I remember my mom and me laughing over things too--I miss that!

Grace--Joe just walks away. Thank goodness he wasn't there with us for this!

MAFW--Hi, pally. WHAT??! Not the monkey mask??? The mask is my favorite.
Hot Rocks--Usually G'ma Phyl is the straight guy, so I'm glad she got wacky with us. It's more fun that way.
Pricilla--The store was pretty quiet because it was raining so hard outside. So, I guess they were happy to have some excitement in the store.

Nancy--Em and I are ALWAYS silly, but G'ma Phyl needs a little prodding. It's more fun when she joins in.
Ann--Em quit rolling her eyes and now joins in. I love that about that kid. :) It's no fun being silly all by yourself.
