Wow is right. I just weighed Langley yesterday and he was 19.1 eep!!!
That's really weird how much we have in common! I did not swim your events though- I was a distance swimmer- 500/200 free and 100 breast. I had a mean breast stroke in my day:)
Veronica--Doesn't he??! He even makes those Puss 'N Boots sad eyes!
Daisy--We knew he was going to be big back then--look at the size of his feet!
Diana--I can't even remember him being that small. It's a good thing we have a big basket!
Mary Ann--He flips over to toast the other side, pally. It's pretty funny to watch.
Vanilla--Oh yeah, the feet always hang out of the basket for some reason. I'm not sure I can find a bigger basket!
Chuck--We knew he was going to be big because of the size of his feet when he was a kitten. He walked like a lion.
Grace--I love baby pictures. :)
Pricilla--I'm afraid he'll grow into it too!
Beaded Tail--I love baby pictures! Do you have any of your gang?
Nancy--Yeah, but you have to get WET. Can I swim without getting wet??? ;) The vet wants Hobbes to lose 5 lbs, so we are trying to get him to slim down a bit. Ugh.
Catherine--It's amazing how big he got! I forget how small he was when we got him.
Jennifer--Wasn't he cute???! Oh, they grow so fast. Too fast.
Ann--Hahaha! Yeah, no kidding.
Hot Rocks--Yeah, it's kinda dirty, isn't it?
Nellie--I guess I should be happy with what I've got, right?! Hobbes also doesn't make obnoxious noises either. Whew!
Casey--The sink shrunk too. And my jeans. I don't know what is wrong with this house!
Haha, I was telling Tigger* just the other day that he was no longer a boy but a man :)
* = Tigger being my neighbor's outdoor cat.. he was a slim 'boy' when we moved here 1.5years ago, but he's bulked up quite a bit now. I am *so* glad he's survived these past two winters!
CG--Well, he did get more orange as he matured. I think that makes him look larger.
lynne--He's got to bulk up to survive! I'm glad that he's got someone looking out for him so that he does make it through the winters. I like that you talk to him. :)
I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days.
I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up!
I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

That's a whole lot of kitty!! Reminds me of Puss in Shrek 4.
Happy Thursday, Lin!
Ah, bebbeh Hobbes is sooooo cute!
WOW! How did the basket shrink??
Ha Ha...he still looks comfy and he's beside the fire....he's nice and toasty on one side anyway.
And yet he appears to be thoroughly enjoying it! (He sleeps like I do-- feet off the end of the bed.)
Your pretty boy is a big boy now. And as cute as ever!
::chuckling out loud:: So cute!
I think you need a bigger basket!
Maybe the basket shrunk from the heat of the fire! Those little orange stripey baby legs and tummy are too cute! Love Hobbes's modesty now too!

I'm really excited to get back into it again!
Haha ~ adorable!! One can never have too much Hobbes to love! So sweet!
xo Catherine
Holy cow the kitten Hobbes photo is just too cute for words:)
OMG, this one made me laugh. A tisket a tasket Hobbes needs a bigger basket
I love that pic!
Hobbies could have a centerfold pose going on there! Better watch out for those female cats!
Uh that was supposed to be HOBBES!
That is the cutest thing EVER!! I bet Hobbes doesn't smell like a goat, and would never eat you out of house and home...literally :)
You must have put the basket through the dryer at some point. Is it wool? It shrunk, I'm sure. It's not the cat.

That's so crazy, he looks like a totally different cat.
Side note: I like the title around your fireplace there -- kind of a mosaic thing goin' on.
