Grace, underrated

You gotta love Grace.

She had her visit to the new vet the other day and handled it like a pro--unlike the other drama queen. There were no fevers or limping or acting like we were dying the next day. Nope. She went. She got her shots. And came home.

No drama.

Love that cat.

Grace is getting older now (13), so we decided to run some bloodwork just to see if her kidneys were good and everything else checked out. And while the doctor carried her off to draw some blood and squeeze her wee bladder a bit, Grace handled it with ease. Okay, so she was a bit miffed for a bit when we got home, but otherwise, Girlfriend deals.

I love that cat.

I hope her bloodwork comes back A-OK

Pricilla--It already did--She's A-OK! See, great cat. Totally underrated.

She handled it with grace. Gorgeous cat she is, too.

I love a gray kitty with green eyes. Tell her I wouldn't like getting my bladder squeeze either. What a good girl!

Oh Lin,
She is a beauty! She truly looks like she has class as she stands proudly looking at the world around her.
You are a lucky pet owner for her good health...

Grace is very beautiful and regal and probably knew she'd show up Hobbes by handling the vet with, well, grace! I'm glad her bloodwork came back good!

It takes a special dignity and grace (get it Grace! ROFL) to handle something like that.

Yay Grace! You show em how it's done! I'm sure she got special goodies just for being so good.

Grace wears her name well :) We may all love Hobbes but I bet Grace probably runs the show more than Hobbes is willing to admit to

Grace, you are a good girl! When I have to go to the vet's, I curl up in a tiny ball and pretend to be invisible. It usually does not work. Okay, it never works.

What a trooper! (Cough, cough...probably has to do with the fact that she's a girl...cough, cough). Boys can be such babies about everything.

You are lucky to have such a calm kitty. She is so dang pretty!

Ya, she's probably just pissed at the minor setback to her dignity when they shove that thermometer up her tiny butthole, but I'm glad she's fine.
She is a beautiful cat! Long live the queen...errr, I mean Grace!

Grace--Of course it is! All Grace's are cool, right?

Catherine--Sensible and subtle. She isn't about drama. THANK GOD.

Vanilla--Cute and cool....as a cucumber. Okay, so I have a HUGE scratch across my neck, but she didn't mean to.

Karen--She was so mad at me for taking her to a new place that she didn't want a treat, Karen. Really. She ignored me for hours.

d'Artagnan--She appreciates that. She does not like going to the vet.

Kathy--I'm glad they didn't do that in front of me. Poor thing. She was not very happy with me after that visit.

Tracy--I think she is looking for Hobbes to fight him off. :) Yeah, I'm glad she is healthy.

Beaded Tail--I worry about her because she is getting older. I am very attached to that old girl and can't even think about her being sick.

Petula--Well, she was very miffed when we got home. Ignored me for hours. But, she was cool there. WHew!

Chocolate--Actually, she just wanted to be left alone after that! Poor thing.

Ann--Oh, yes she does! Grace is the alpha cat around here and lets Hobbes know it at every turn.

Daisy--No, it doesn't work for Grace either. She gave me a nice scratch across my neck trying to get really, really close to me at the vet's office. Poor thing.

Nancy--Hahahaha! I think you are RIGHT!

Jean--She was a little freaked out, but she didn't act out and get all sick the next day like a certain Stripey Guy.

Sandra--Oh, I forgot about the thermometer!! They HATE that! I love how their eyes get bigger when that thing goes in. Hee! Hee!

Grace is just too sweet! I love her but a little less than my fave orange guy!

Have a nice day, Lin!

Lin said...

Veronica--Shhhhhh! Don't let Grace hear you say that! Those kitties get very jealous, you know.

I agree with the other commenter about girls being able to handle this stuff better. Glad she has a clean bill of health!
