"Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned...."
It must be the Catholic in me because that is what I think whenever Hobbes hangs out under the chairs in the family room. Is it me or does he look like he's hearing confessions?
Maybe he's waiting to hear something juicy?

Hobbes! Write it all down for later use!
I think he is confessing his sins.
I think he is being held prisoner behind a bamboo curtain. Won't someone free our stripey hero?
I bet we'd be surprised what people would tell him! LOL! :) Cute picture and cute cat!
That pic made me feel so guilty, Lin!! My last confession was more than 10 years ago.
Maybe he is just spying and plotting...I would beware if I were you
Not being Catholic I can't quite relate - looks more like spying and eavesdropping - cats are good at that but they never tell! Too high class for gossip!
That's totally what it looks like and I'm not even Catholic. Or religious. But I'd like to tell Hobbes my confessions if he'll hear them.
Why do I think if I confess my sins to Hobbes he's say "you go, girl!" ?
Wonderful photo of Father Hobbes listening to confessions.
I think he thinks that no one can see him! LOL... He does look like Father Hobbes. You should start calling him that.
Hehe...oh Hobbes! Maybe he thinks you can't see him. Cats are dumb like that sometimes:) Or maybe they're really really smart and they just want us to think they're dumb so they can laugh at us instead.
Thanks for following my other blog thing-hehe. I just changed my *real* blog's URL and wanted to claim the old one just so no one else would. So it's not real- just hogging space:) You do get a prize for having such good observational/ stalking skills though;)
ROFL, oh yes that is a confessional cat if I ever saw one.
Confessionals bring back nightmares of when I was a kid and the priest started screaming at me because I answered uh huh instead of yes father. I was so embarrassed when I walked out and everyone was turned around looking to see who was getting the lecture
Daisy--But, Daisy....HE'S the one being naughty!!
Helene--He'll be there all day!
Chuck--Don't let him fool ya--he's waiting for a surprise attack on Grace.
Sherrie--I dunno, I've got nuthin. What do YOU have to tell him????!
Veronica--That Catholic guilt just never goes away, does it?? ;)
Pricilla--You are soooo right, but it is Grace who needs to watch out!
Grace--He spying and plotting an attack on Grace. He looks innocent enough, but I know better.
Casey--And for the price of a kitty treat you can be absolved of all sin. :) How easy is that??!
Helene--Hahaha!
Terra--Or Dr. Evil planning to sneak attack on Grace.
Petula--I'm gonna call him "mud" if he doesn't stop being a naughty boy! He is very bored with this weather.
Nancy--I think they are a LOT smarter than we think. And I'm bummin' that I wasn't really your first follower. :( I thought I was so cool.
Ann--Can you believe we ever did that??! How ridiculous!! It should be the priest who should be ashamed!
He does look like he's hearing confession. Does Grace have something she wants to tell him?
I suspect he is on the side that is doing the confessing. He doesn't strike me as being very priestly.
Lin... I totally laughed out loud on that post! I get it...I too have Catholic in me!
I'm not Catholic but I might be if Hobbes was in the confessional!
Oh, most definitely! A couple of us catholics at work were talking about the old days when you went in a booth with heavy curtains and the sound it made when the priest would slide the little door open. You never forget.
LOL ~ you hear lots of good stuff when you stay nice and quiet! :)
xo Catherine
Lin, you are the coolest! No one else stalked me like that:)
Oh, if that cat could talk....
It most definitely does! And I don't think he's going to let anybody get off lightly.
He does! That's so funny!
That's *exactly* what he looks like, but I thought he was giving the confession and you were listening. Isn't that interesting?
