I'm Freaking Freezing, Mr. Bigglesworth

I thought about taking a photo of the thermometer in my car on my way to work yesterday--that sucker was marking below zero temps. But then I thought I'd probably crash and I couldn't bear the thought of standing out there in the frigid weather exchanging insurance information with the dude I just crashed into. And I don't have a hat in the car because they just mess my hair and then my ears would freeze.

Okay, so I didn't take the photo. You'll just have to take my word for it that your car thermometer really does show that little negative sign when the temperature drops below zero.

I just thought you might want to know that.

Have a great weekend, pallies. Stay warm and snuggle with those you love. I'll be doing that AND hosting Dance Team breakfast at our house 6:00 a.m. Sunday morning. Nothing like feeding 20 girls pancakes and bacon when I should be sleeping. Ugh.

Oooh. And have you thought about what time you'll have to set your alarm for Sunday morning? Hahahaha. (Now, that's cold!)

You are such a good supporter...I can dance for pancakes and bacon.

My car said 10* when I got in and for me that was cold enough! More snow coming tomorrow. Ugh!

The thermometer in our car starts beeping when the temps go below zero. It has done that a lot lately :( more snow to come.

hang in there and stay warm too!

You are the best weather forecaster I know. I can always tell what our weather will be by reading your blog, because the weather that hits you guys is only a day or two away from us. :S I have enjoyed this winter with *just* snow and warmer temps. :( I hope this sub zero bout is short-lived. Stay warm!

I haven't seen below zero temps since we moved from CO 8 years ago and I don't miss them at all! On my way home from my tax class the other night I was snapping photos of the sunset while driving. Not a smart idea but we so rarely see the sun these days I couldn't miss the opportunity. Enjoy the very early breakfast tomorrow!

I don't have a thermometer in my car and it's probably a good thing. If I actually saw how cold it was I would only feel worse. We actually got up to 10 today so far, it's like a heat wave...lol
Stay warm and have a great weekend

Why breakfast so early on a Sunday? I thought teens like sleeping in.

I have never seen a thermometer that registered below zero.

I hope never to see a thermometer (in real life) that registers below zero.

Hope the breakfast went well.

Wow, Lin, you are one brave soul. If I lived there, as I've said before, I think I would just flip Hobbes out of his basket and resume hibernation for the winter. No way you're getting me out going to work in negative degree weather. No ma'im.

Mine wont... I don't have one! hahahahahah -10 here this morning.

It starts to feel a whole lot colder when the Bears lose to the Packers in the playoffs :-(

Eek. Not it!

This, my friend, is why I live in Florida... and always will.

20 girls at 6 am?! I think I'd rather stand out in the freezing cold without a hat on!

Catherine--I can't believe there are people who have never experienced the negative sign. Sigh. Wish it was me some days.

Vanilla--5:00 a.m. with a shower the night before. It's ugly, pally. UGLY.

DG--It's all fun. Someday I'm gonna miss it. Really.

Fran's Dad--You should have stopped by, Mike. We had leftovers!

Grace--You'll have to talk to Chef Joe. But he's sort of cranky with these adventures--I have to warn you.

Jodi--More snow???! Yikes. Dance team is very different from colorguard. VERY different. Only half of the girls showed and they were very quiet and didn't eat much. Band kids are hearty, I tell ya. And louder.

Duni--Oh, I think we would wear that beeper out! Even my dryer sounds like a train whistle these days from the cold. It's very odd.

Rebecca--It's gonna warm up some, Rebecca. And a light dusting of snow. (Let me know if I'm right)

Beaded Tail--We still have two more months of this weather! I'm not sure I'm gonna make it. You don't have below zero temps there? I'm jealous.

Ann--I watched my thermometer drop from 41 to below zero on my way to work. It was very sad. And cold. brrrrrr.

Pricilla--Even the sun isn't warm. :(

Storm--Oh, it gets cold here. And I try not to complain because I know it can only get worse. Brrrrr!

Jean--You all have been knocked hard in Georgia this year. At least we are used to it. It's harder when you aren't! Hang in there, Jean!

Karen--Dance competition, believe it or not. On a Sunday! Ugh. Only half of the girls showed--I guess they slept in! Band kids wouldn't miss it, but dance girls need their sleep. It's a whole different group of kids.

Highway--I will take a picture for you the next time it does it. That way you can see it, but you don't have to experience it!

Nancy--I'm fine as long as nobody calls to tell me how warm they are in Florida or anything. That just makes me crabby.

Sharky--Brrrrr! I'll bet your bike is really cold this time of year. :)

Jodi--Yeah, but I don't care about football, so that's okay. I think I'm the only person in Chicago who could care less. But I'm not saying that too loudly. ;)

Cute--Do not rub it in or I will send the cold down your way!! :)

Lynne--Oh, it's not that bad. Only half of the girls showed, which threw me--I was ready for 20! Colorguard girls would have ALL been here. I guess dance girls are more....uh.....girlie and slept in!

My car tells me that conditions may be icy and that I should be careful.

It doesn't say it like that, but pretty close.

I think it's great that my car cares so much about the safety of me and my family.

And no, I am not high.

That is so freeeeeeeezing cold!
Temp drops to negative is something we haven't experienced at all. If I only know how it feels.

Hope you are getting warm! ;)

We have lots of rain showers every day here in the Philippines though.
