Hobbes stood at the door this morning in complete confusion and denial. But after a little encouragement, my orange stripey is now a big orange stripey snowball.
Well I would have too...wow, that's a lot of snow. Ewww, you have no idea how much I hate snow. I would be so content to only have to look at the pretty pictures people take of it and think "better you than me".
Please keep the snow up (?) there where you are. The snow plow always makes a mountain of snow across our driveway and we have to wait three or four days for it to melt.
Someone told us that we're supposed to shovel it but I think it was some kind of April fools joke that the locals were trying to play on us x-californians
You have snow that deep on the fourth of December? We barely have anything sticking to the grass. I hope it stays that way over here for ever and ever, amen.
Ozark Mtn. Cats--This was from last year. We have snow, but not that much. The plows here do the same thing to me! We are the first house from the corner, so all the HUGE boulders end up in front of our driveway. Ugh.
Jean--Old photo--there was no time to get one from today on here. That said, he was still out there running around like a goof. Weird, isn't it?
Sharky--Or he just needs to escape us in the house!
Beaded Tail--Old photo--I didn't have time to get a new one. But that was what he was doing out there. He loves the snow for some reason.
Storm--We don't have that much--it is an old photo. But Hobbes was still out there running around making snowcat angels.
Daisy--He loves the snow, Daisy! Isn't he silly?
CG--We have a couple of inches, but this is from last year. That said, Hobbes was out there running around and chasing imaginary things in the snow. I do have some video to post.
Highway--I like it on the lawn and the trees, but not the roads. Folks here drive like idiots when it snows. For people who live in Chicago, they completely forget how to drive over the summer. Ugh.
Helene--Shhhhh. I had to recycle a photo because I was running out the door to work the concession stand for the craft show at the school. He really did go out in the snow and run around like a goof--only it wasn't quite that deep.
Stephanie--I think Hobbes is a snow dog deep down inside. He and Rebel can make an igloo and live in it together. :)
Chocolate--I think he needs boots because his feet get cold and he has to come in. I have never known a cat that likes snow like he does.
natalee--We really only have 3 inches. I had to recycle a photo because I was running out the door for the day. Hobbes was running all over and I had to corral him and bring him in before we left. He loves the snow!
Rebecca--See above. Hobbes is lovely in the snow. He runs and jumps like a dog out there! I have never seen this with a cat.
Anne--He was a bit confused at first, but now he is going out a lot more. He REALLY likes it if I go out with him. Grace just watches from the window.
Vanilla--He LOVES it, Vanilla! It's so funny to watch him in it. Yes, I took video.
I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days.
I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up!
I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

I don't know what my cats would do in the snow--my dog loves it though!
Did Hobbes come to Montana?
Is he what the Farm cats saw?
Inquiring minds want to know....
All that snow sure makes it hard on a guy to do what a guy needs to do when he goes outside. I don't blame Hobbes for being confused.
It's just plain brrrrr cold here in STL! Some snow would almost make this cold seem tolerable...plus add to the season.
Mr. Cookie knew what was going on, but he tippy-toenailed just off the walkway and expressed his disapproval against the plum tree.
Hobbes is braver than Banjo! :)
Grace--I like the pretty flakes falling and seeing the world covered with white, but driving is nuts. I like it now, but talk to me in March.
Karen--Hobbes LOVES it! He was running all over today. I don't know why he likes it so much. Weird for a cat, eh?
Pricilla--Yeah, he's coming to visit you goats! ;)
Ann--I think he forgot how cold snow actually is. He went out today, but only for a short time. I think we have to get him some boots.
Jodi--We're getting the cold this week. Ugh. I'm not ready for that, Jodi!
Vanilla--Hahaha! Poor Mr. Cookie! Poor plum tree!
Catherine--Hobbes is braver than most cats. I have no idea why he likes snow.

Oh My Goodness! That Snow looks Deep!!! Scary pic for this southern gal and cat.
I think he just doesn't know that he's a cat!
Is that snow there now? That's a lot!
Cuteness! But you can keep all that snow - we don't want any of here :)
Hobbes! You went into the SNOW?!? You might need to get a parka. With pink fur trim.

We had snow here in Youngsville and the forecasters completely miscalled it. Its beautiful though and today I get in ride my horse in it.
Then I want it to go away.
Ahem-I know that picture. I'm sure I do. Unless further south of here looks like Montana at the moment.
It snowed a lot here too overnight. Rebel made himself a snow den and had to be forced to come inside!
Hobbes looks like he is enjoying it :)
Brrr. Do they make kitty sweaters? I think Hobbes is in need of one! He is adorable in his "let's make a snowcat" routine.
Girl.. when did you get all that snow??????? how much was that.. nj hasnt been hit yet but its coming...LOL!!!
Holy guacamole!!! You guys got more snow than we did! What do you think you're doing, huh??
I love the blue shadows that snow creates. Contrasts nicely with a stripey orange cat. :)
Eeek! Snow! Did he enjoy it? My cats are indoor cats so they have only ever seen snow through the window. I don't know what they would do.
Snowcat!! A stripey one! :D

haha! A little sasquatch kitty! Mine would never even deign to put her nose outside when it the ground freezes.
Wow...those are some brave cold little feet. Good thing he has a warm fire to curl up under.
