Oh great photos! But Hobbes seems to be as modest as a cat can be - covering up his boy bits, or what is left of them, with his tail...
If we had a fireplace my cats would be ecstatic, well at least Frankie would, tho she has taught BB that heat vents are marvelous inventions - Frankie now responds to "Hover, don't cover", BB still needs to be pulled off and relocated...
Oh Grace-- Hobbes is just goofing around. You know how those boys are.
Lin- thanks for your swell comment on my Salvation Army post. :D
Regarding Target-- I will certainly heed your advice about the company! I have never ordered from them online, and most likely never will. So, your suffering will not go unheeded!
It's not really XX rated. He managed to cover his privates. For which I am thankful.
The minute my husband bends down to make a fire our cat Pirate immediately sits down beside him and watches him. Then as soon as hubby gets up, Pirate curls up in the empty space.
Its one of those moment when you know a cat is secretly smiling.
Hmn...at least he has the decency to cover his man bits. Hehe... Hobbes reminds me so much of my Langley. He may look more like Grace in color, but they share the same demeanor. Langley lays on his back more often than anything else. I've never had a cat that does that like him!
P.S.- Thanks for the comments about my table for the show! I'm definitely planning on adding some height and a middle layer AND thanks for the reminder to wear my own jewelry. I had a duh moment when you said that as I was all planning on wearing another vendor's jewelry (she's a good friend). So now I'll wear both:)
Catherine--Grace is just disgusted at the mere mention of his name. I was jokingly referring to Hobbes today as "Voldemort" or "He who should not be named".
Daisy--He's a big boy, Daisy!
Zach--I don't know what he is doing, but it sure looks weird!
Veronica--Hahaha! I never even noticed his balls! Shame on you! ;)
Jennifer--I love a real tree too! Yeah, Grace can barely stand the sight of Hobbes, so the pose did her in. Somehow, she doesn't find him as funny as we do.
Grace--He wraps himself up with his tail all the time, but this pose was a new one. It just looks obscene! He LOVES the fireplace. Come evening, that's where you will find him toasting his belleh. Grace likes the vents too.
peewee--How do you even notice the basket in the photo???
Rebecca--Target admitted they have a glitch in their system that if something is backordered, they cannot cancel the order. CRAZY! I wonder if you can find out ahead of time if something is backordered? I did not in my case. Grace just can't stand Hobbes--no matter what he is doing.
Jodi--And my, what a big tail he has!
Jen--I'm not sure if this is modest or downright obscene!
Beaded Tail--I think Grace would LOVE to send you this basket of Hobbes for Christmas!
Karen--There is something about that fireplace that makes all his inhibitions disappear. Thank goodness that doesn't happen with Joe!
LJ--Kitties sure love the fireplace, don't they? Ours is gas and on remote control. I swear that cat knows how to turn it on himself! I think you should try and felt Hobbes in that position!!! Hahaha!
Pricilla--No kidding! I think he is just obscene!
Nancy--I liked your table the way it was set up, but I really don't like it when 1 or 2 people camp out at the table and others can't see anything. I end up walking away and I thought that may happen with you too. We can't have that! :0 It must be a boy cat thing to lay with your "goods" out there.
I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days.
I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up!
I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

Clearly Grace is NOT impressed... boys... they just have no modesty... ;)

Hahahaha! Hobbes, you got a big tail!
Hobbes loves the tickling using his tail! LOL :D
What are those ..er balls in the basket??
Is Grace giving Hobbes the stink eye? :) Hobbes looks so cute! Love all the photos of your huge tree too!

Hobbes, caught with his tale between his legs.
Haha!
Colby lays like that all the time, only he's not so modest.
Too cute! Cheers!

Grace, your brofur is something isn't he? We think he's very cute and are impressed with his modesty. We'd like a basket of Hobbes for Christmas!
Angel & Isabella
Hobbes is so cute . . . and smart too!

Boys will be, erm, boys!

Is that Hobbes "Playcat" pose...lol
Yeah I saw the obscene. Never saw modesty. Must be like those photos where ya guess if its a woman or two candlesticks or whatever.
Playcat pose-yep that's it!
Clearly she isn't as impressed with the guy as the guy is... so this is news?
Ann--Hahaha! Kinda like Burt Reynolds! Only he doesn't need a bear skin rug. :0
Helene--Yeah, I thought it was obscene too! Apparently, so did Grace!
Sharky--She despises him, Sharky. He gets that looks when he's just breathing.
I've got four of those roasting by the fire, belly up right now - it looks like a black cat bomb went off. ;)
