I had a lovely surprise yesterday morning when our pally, Merry, posted this video on Facebook in my honor. Somehow she knew it would be something that I would love, and by golly, she was right! Thanks, Merry. Glad you are back to feeling better and blogging again!

Well Pal, until now I had managed to elude that stupid Christmas tune. Score: 1 I Want A Hippo 1 Christmas Shoes...it's a tie for the worst and most overplayed Christmas tunes.
Now if I hear this on the radio at my desk today...well, I just may have to come hunt you down.hehehehe

Jodi--OMG--I played that insipid "Christmas Shoes" video for Joe right after I linked this badboy--I DESPISE the shoe song too!!! I want to rip my ears off every time I hear it! And to cope with the Hippo song--just remember that goofy grin on that dude while he's singing it. I'll bet you can even do that little shoulder dance that he does too. It will make you laugh and your co-workers wonder what the hell you are doing. Go ahead, I dare ya.

I have never heard the shoe song, whatever the heck that is. And I don't want to, thanks very much. Doesn't seem to have gotten good reviews.
OTOH: That was kinda cute but I can't help but wonder - WHY? Tho I would have rhymed rhinoceri with hippomati - but that's just me.
Dang it - I just read vanilla's comment and he had the same idea - about the rhyming, I mean. I'm not gonna go all back space now and change what I wrote - so there - Pbfft!

HaHA! This song cracks me up! And I DID know that hippos kill more people than any other animal. I saw a Discovery Channel special on that one. Yes. I am a nerd ;)
