I Love Hobbes Thursday

So, I finally figured out why my clothes were covered in orange stripey fur.

Now if I can only figure out how to fit in there--wouldn't it be nice to escape the world Hobbes-style?? I'm telling you, when it comes to living the good life, Hobbes has it figured out.

That's how I feel in my house most days.

That is the perfect getaway spot!

Hmmm.... yup... I've seen a similar picture of Banjo in my closet ~ but one must always have a cat hair or two on them to be properly dressed for work! :)

Happy Day!

Hey does that orange sweater come in a size 12?

Hahaha, that is SOOOOO funny!

You should carry that picture in your purse so when anyone comments on your orange cat hair sweater you can just whip out the picture!

Your stripey guy sure looks angelic. Love that pose and especially the smile.

Further evidence that you don't possess a cat; a cat possesses you.

(Well, two cats, in your case.)

There is something about ones closet that is very warm and appealing to a cat! I know, my cat is always napping on the floor of the closet where the clothes hang.

I enlarged the photo to see his face better and my dear, this photo is priceless (for everything else, there's mastercard).

Hobbes is the master of enjoying life. I believe he keep in touch with Dalai Lama via sms...

Awh! Langley has been sleeping in the laundry basket lately. Annoying, but at least those clothes are already dirty!

That looks like a very cozy place to be. Hobbes may be a little miffed if we all showed up to cuddle though. I know my cat gets miffed if I even think about cuddling him. *sigh*

Cats are something. Sherpa gets into the underwear drawer now.

Hobbes has it made! He has a fabulous life and we can tell he knows it!

Oh my gosh that is so cute. He looks like he's in heaven snoozing in there.

Helene--And now that it is cold, I'd love to snuggle up in there for a nap. Somehow, I know the family would find me. Sigh.

Daisy--No kidding! He's smart, that Hobbes!

Catherine--My two cats previous to Hobbes had white fur and I'm telling you--that stuff was EVERYWHERE! My soul requirement for our new kitten was "NOT white".

Kathy--I think you could get 2 size twelves out of that cat!

Violet--Yeah, not so funny when I take out my "clean" clothes. Ugh.

Melodie--I wouldn't want to make anyone jealous, Melodie. ;)

Chuck--He's like a baby, Chuck--all is forgiven when you see their sleeping faces. Somehow the badness of the day just disappears.

Vanilla--No kidding. Do you think I'd throw him out? Nope.

Hot Rocks--Hobbes used to do that when he was a kitten. Once I found the handles of my brand new purse (stored in there) all chewed up! I close the closet doors now.

Grace--He's a goof. A very sweet goof.

V7--He is the Dalai Lama of cats I think. :)

Nancy--Oh, that is smart! I'll have to get a low laundry basket. I hate when they lay on the clean clothes.

Jen--My P/T says it's all about their timing. I can't kiss him when HE'S sleeping, but he can sit on me when I am. Somehow, that doesn't seem fair.

Pricilla--Hee! Hee! That is funny!

Beaded Tail--We have some spoiled animals, don't we???

Ann--I don't even throw him out. Isn't it funny what we do for our animals?? I'm sure you do the same for Duke.

Our cats like the linen closet too1 On these cold nights, I leave it open for them.

He actually looks cute, but isn't he a little big to be "cute?"

Petula said...

Wow, LOL, that is too funny and cute. Is the door normally open or does he slip in when no one is looking? I so wish I were a cat!

Storm, The Psychotic Housewife said...

LOL! It looks like a good hiding space for me, too. Cats have it made!

I am sitting here, viewing Hobbes' picture, and laughing the whole time. He is definitely the Master of Escaping!!! LOL

*sigh*

Got any more room in there?

Lin said...

Karen--Yeah, everybody is trying to find good snuggling spots when it gets chilly now. It's good to know other people have fur on their clothes and bedding too. :)

Sharky--We can say he looks happy. :)Believe it or not, I still refer to him as the "little kitty".

Petula--He jumps in when I open it. It's like the cat food opener--they just know the sound of it opening.

Storm--No kidding! I wish I could fit in there!

A.Marie--He is a Master Goofball!

Rebecca--He barely fits as it is, so he smushes my clothes. Sorry.

Excellent.
