We are recovering from our last football game and heading into our End-O-the-Season party over at the SuperFan's house. We are packing up the drum boxes and washing the colorguard uniforms. Uniforms are being sent to the cleaners and the concert band tuxedos are being dusted off. We've hugged our Senior band parents good-bye and anointed a new SuperFan--I guess it is officially done for another year.
Commence melancholy.

Aw!!! I've never been much for school sports, but your enthusiasm even got me a little excited. lol.
My cow is running dry these days, too. Winter is a lovely season for bloggers, I think. I hope to have more time to SETTLE DOWN and fabricate wild and humorous yarns, like the olden days.
Well, there is that party...
lucky!
we still have 2 contests and 2 games (and possible playoffs), plus a veeran's day parade. geesh! is it thanksgiving break, yet? lol
Have a restful weekend after all of your busyness. Now you can be energized for more blogging in this cooler weather.
Rest and recuperate, for life goes on!
Maybe now you can get some rest. :-) Okay, you're only allowed a couple of days of melancholy then you gotta get on to the next thing.
Sit back and breathe a bit now, after the party that is :)
Rest today, wish me happy birthday tomorrow from Hobbes.
Melancholy, that comes for me next Friday at the last football game--senior night. My final and forever required marching band/football game.
Today I just need for me and you to cross our fingers and toes that the kids win a nice big trophy at Greater St. Louis Marching Band Festival. (Guess what, Aurora and Normal are performing...not in our division but the IL friends have traveled the distance for a great competition. I think ABS should come here next year?!)
Now enjoy that party at Superfan's house and may the best man be bestowed the #1 finger!
All good things must come to an end....
Sounds like a great year though!
Party Hardy and enjoy the memories!
Enjoy the party! Who's the new SuperFan?
Have fun at the party ~ just think ~ you will now have a little time to relax ~ maybe? :)
Happy Sunday Lin!
xo Catherine
There's no harm in a little rest. Put that giant orange stripped ottoman in your lap and chill out.
