Semi-Wordless Wednesday

I have no clue on where they came from, but the pond is harboring the cutest teeny tiny frogs lately. Literally, they are about 2 inches in size and when frightened, they skip across the lily pads, barely making those broad leaves budge.

Simple joys. It is what the pond brings me on a daily basis.

And while those damn teeny tiny tomatoes frustrate me, the teeny tiny frogs bring a smile to my face. It's all perspective, isn't it.

Cuties! What a neat thing to see in your backyard every day.

Could be the tiny frogs are the guardians of the tiny tomatoes. Interesting that the bountiful crop happens as the little froggies move in.

Maybe the tiny frogs are there to remind you of the wonders of tiny things such as tomatoes. Cool photo

I am thinking these teeny tiny frogs would be fun to watch as you sit and eat your teeny tiny tomatoes! :)

Happy Wednesday Lin!

You seem to be on a teeny tiny roll there.

Yep, everything is perspective.

Think of all the bugs those froggies will eat. And with that bumper crop of tommy toes, I think you must have been blessed by your gardening angel. :)

You could always use your teeny tiny tomatoes to cook up with some teeny tiny frog's legs. No? I like frogs - we have so many representations of them all around the house. I wonder what that means in the world of Freud?

I'm gonna view the things of late that are aggrevating me in the metaphore of cherry tomatoes and miniture frogs. Since in the big picture of life we (I) need to see the little frogs and say screw the cherry tomatoes.

See there your little frog helped me too :-)

Lin-- REALLY. You don't know where the frogs came from?! Why, they came from Mr. and Mrs. Frog!

Well you could always make teeny tiny frog leg provencal

Seeing those teeny tiny frogs skipping across the lily pads would be quite a treat! Sorry the tomatoes have ceased being such a treat.

A crop of mini-frogs - how fun! You humans can eat the mini-tomatoes, we kitties will snack on the mini-frogs. Fresh food right out of the garden and pond!

If you are really bored of those tomatoes, you should try the little frogs, then. There are probably enough to go around.

DG--Oh, gees, they are CUTE! You should see how little they are! Can't help but love 'em. :)

Highway--I'm thinking all the rain makes 'em travel. Glad they stopped here. I just hope they stay. I've lost count on how many frogs I have. Tomatoes--Uh, I have too many!

Ann--I'm done with those tomatoes! I picked another whole bowl tonight. Ugh.

Catherine--Okay, let's all quit with the "tomato love"! I'm DONE with them! I do sit and peek at the frogs though. Gees, they are cute all sitting on the lily pads.

Helene--Hahaha!

Vanilla--Isn't it? Life is weird that way. Weird, but good. :)

Chuck--I hope they are eating mosquitoes because there are lots and lots of those! I think all that rain and warm sunshine is making the world bloom.

Linda--Hi, new pally! I'm glad you came over to check us out. :)

Grace--GASP! Did you say "frog legs"??? NOOOOOOO! Let me know what they mean according to Freud. I just like them because they smile all the time. I love their faces.

Jodi--Yep. We have to enjoy what we can and forget the rest. Or at least make salsa out of the tomatoes of life, right. :) I like Grace's idea of making Bloody Mary's out of them.

Rebecca--:) Yeah, but I don't think it was in OUR pond! All the rain must have brought them to our pond. We have like 6 frogs now!

Pricilla--GASP! Bite your tongue, Pricilla!

Beaded Tail--Oh, they are adorable! They are just so little!! It's funny to see them compared to the 2 big guys we have.

Sparkle--GASP! What is with you pallies and the eating of the frogs???! These little guys are QUICK, Sparkle. They know to skedaddle to avoid being eaten.

Stephanie--You wouldn't believe how small they are! And they are very brave and will sit for photos. :) I like that part because I can go out and just watch them.

Roschelle--Oh, they ARE! You should see their little smiley faces. :)

Velvet--Hi, new pally! I'm glad you came over. :)

I'm scared of frogs!

I used to follow my mom to catch frogs when I was little, maybe around 9 years old.

I remember mom made porridge and soup from them frogs. I think I ate them too but I don't think I could eat them now :(

I don't know that Freud had an opinion about frogs but here is one line to the symbolism of frogs:

That's a perfect picture and the cutest little frog ever.

I never used to give a hoot about frogs, but my son has a little african dwarf frog in a tank and darn it if the little girl didn't capture my heart too!

Lin said...

Nessa--Oh, horrors!! But you should not be afraid of the frogs, you should be VERY afraid of your mother! ;)

Grace--Hmmmmm. I like the symbolism of change.

Betty--Oh, they are soooo cute! You can't even imagine. :)

June Zach--He is very tiny. I think I need a macro lens, but this will do. They are sort of brave, so they will sit for me to take many photos until I get a good one. LOVE those little frogs.

Petula--I have like 3 or 4 of these things! They are just soooo cute and I have no idea where they came from!

Violet--There is just something about their smiley faces. I swear they smile.

Those look like the little plastic frogs I got at the Dollar Store. They are literally strewn about the house and the stupid dog keeps eating them.
