You know it's bad when you are the last folks in the bar and you wake up with your voice deeper than Brenda Vaccaro. It's kinda sexy until you see me. Let's just say it's not pretty.
So, until I have some coffee and a few Excedrin Migraine tablets, just enjoy the pond amongst yourselves.
Please, no swimming.

Sorry to hear you had a rough night! Get some rest;) Didn't know marching band 'rents partied so hard! Lovely shot though:)
I don't think there is anything of have read this morning that didn't make me smile, or laugh - this post is no exception ::tip toeing quietly away::
BOOM...BOOM...BOOM...those darn drums are still beating in my head this morning...
Worse than that...CRASH...CRASH...CRASH...the cymbals are killing me...
And well...a little Tuba "Oom Pah Pah" going on in the tummy!!!
Nothing worse than a band hangover...aaahhh!!!
First performance of the season...I better toughen up...we got a long road ahead of us!!!
Love ya my dear friend!!!
Wen
Ooops I left out one more comment...
"Can I Ralph off your pond?"
...just asking...
Wen
Feel better, Brenda.
I am enjoying a hangover caused by dehydration. That pond looks very inviting.
No swimming?! I'll wade if you don't mind. It's hot out. Can't wait to hear how your field show pulled off.
That song is from The Posiden Adventure. I hope you don't go down with the ship.
Our team was down 7-28 at the half and won 31-28. It was very exciting and I am glad I stayed after the band knocked off. I had a lot of fun! But not as much fun as YOU!
The dreaded morning after. And it seemed like such a good idea the night before didn't it. Just doesn't seem fair. I'll just go hang by the pond and play with the frogs while you recuperate.
Haha... I thought you were going to say that all the froggies had been eaten. But... just a hangover. Tuff stuffies as Dennis might say. O wait, I'm your friend. Oh Lin, I'm so sorry. Hope you feel better soon.
Kinda along the same lines of thought as expressed by Sharkbytes.
Hope you are up and at 'em by now.
I hope it was worth it.
Nancy--Oh, this group ROCKS, Nancy! Gone are the stereotypes. We can be nerdy and drunk! ;)
Grace--I wasn't laughing this morning. Of course I did a LOT the night before. And a little too loudly, I might add. ;) It was worth it.
Wendy--Between last weekend and last night--I'm gonna DIE! I had so much fun laughing with you and the gang last night. What a hoot! You can only throw up if you lean over the side of the pond. It's what true friends do. ;)
JD--Your hang over doesn't sound very fun. I'm still laughing from last night--that's the only thing that is helping me recover.
Jodi--You can stick your toes in, but it might scare the frogs. And you know--the water is kinda warm too and probably not refreshing. The show was good, but not complete just yet. We need another week.
Diana--This morning I swore we were sinking, but I'm better now. Dang alcohol. Glad your team won!
Ann--Oh, those drinks go down so easily! And it's all fun and games until the morning comes. Ugh. You'd think I'd learn.
Sharky--I know, I know. It's my own fault. It was fun creating my own misery though and I'm still cracking up about last night, so all is not lost. I guess it was worth it.
Vanilla--Oh, we got up, albeit slowly, to clean house. Thank goodness Joe felt as bad as I did! Ah, well, it was fun and worth it. :)
Pricilla--Yep. These are some fun folks I hang with these days. The band parents are actually pretty wild--not your typical band parents I think. I'm glad I have them. :)
Sounds like this is going to be either one very fun or one very long band season! Hope you're feeling better!
You should go with your hangover remedy and sit out by the pond too. Maybe it will give you peace while you recover.
Seeing the pond is plenty good enough for me.
Bawha ~ oh Lin ~ you make me laugh! But I will laugh very quietly..... :) shhhhh.....
xo Catherine
Glad you had a good time. Where's my breakfast?? I can't really eat this water now, can I?
Beaded Tail--This is my kinda band season! At least it is fun, right?
Marilynne--It wasn't too bad, so I just popped a couple of aspirin and drank a lot of water. I was fine in no time. I didn't overdo it, thank goodness!
Ratty--Yeah, the "day after" look isn't very pretty.
Catherine--I've got to work on my endurance! Thank goodness we have all marching season to practice.
Betty--It's a BYOB (bring your own breakfast), Betty.
