Hi Lin! Helene wanted me to send you the link to Lori's blog...she posted an awesome poem that she wrote. I think you'll have to copy and paste it in order to view it! :)
CG--Yeah, who would have thought he'd be 17 pounds???!
Helene--Wasn't he cute??? Sigh. I miss those teeny tiny days.
Catherine--I'm amazed at how dark his orange is now. He was so much lighter back then---in so many ways! ;0
Highway--Me too! And he was a cuddler back then too. I would love to sit with him purring on my chest.
Daisy--Next to you, Daisy! ;)
Nessa---Like our kids--you forget they were so little at one time.
Chuck--I'm not so big on human babies--but give me a baby kitty.....
Rebecca--Me too! I like how Split Rock always takes in foster kitties. I can totally see me doing that someday when the kids are gone. Can you imagine kittens ALL the time??
Lola--Don't they grow up fast??! How is Maddux?
Harriet--I love how pink they are! You know, before they get rough and dirty.
A.Marie--He used to love smoochies back then--now, not as much. Hey, did you get your package from Tracy yet?? OMG--you should see the one I got!! Let me know if yours was as good as mine.
Jo--Seems like everyone is in a hurry to grow up these days. Wish I could make time stand still every so often. Sigh.
Petula--I'm okay today. I called Colin but he didn't have time to chat with me--he was with the guys. Sigh. I guess I have to wait for him to be homesick.
A.Marie--Oh, gees, I LOVED that poem! It helped so much today. :)
Pricilla--Aren't they??! He really did grow into those suckers!
Grace--Oh, if only we could go back in time for a day. Sigh.
Sharky--That is funny you say that because we had Sammy here last week and I just realized that we probably didn't play with him enough. We are used to the cats that just sort of hang with us. I think dogs need more stimulation from humans than that. Ooops.
Stephanie--I love baby photos of our pets. Do you have them too?
I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days.
I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up!
I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

They do grow TOO fast. The kids. And the kittens. :D Good thing the kittens don't run off to college.

I am a little jealous - he was a much cuter kitten than I was!
He's sooo precious. reminds me of my Seymour....don't ya think?
Awww! Hobbes was the cutest little orange stripey kitten! What a sweetie!

That out-sized ottoman was once this cute little kitty-cat?
Well he's bigger and better now.

Roschelle--Is that a new blog of yours???! I LOVE him! Wanna join the Red Cat Society with us????
Beaded Tail--Don't you just love fur babies???! I would love to see Sadie's baby photos--do you have some?
Stacie--And cheaper to raise. ;)
Vanilla--He was a mini-ottoman! His feet were HUGE, so we knew what was coming. He is much bigger and better now. :)
Ann--You forget how tiny those kittens can be. Sigh. I miss that little Hobbes--he was really funny as a little guy. Now he's just a funny BIG guy. :)
Baby Hobbes was adorable! How cute!!! I like him now too though with all his big stripiness!
I can't believe he was ever such a little snuggler!
Too cute!!!
Such a cute baby Hobbes! An adorable sleepy head! :D
Hi, there, baby Hobbes. You so tiny! Love your curly paws!
Karen--Well, that's because there is just so much more to love! ;)
Violet--No kidding! Who knew there was a monster inside waiting to blossom?!
Dtokentank--Nothing like a stripey kitten. :)
June Zach--You can almost hear his purr.....
Kathy--Sigh. Those BIG curly paws! Look how big they are! Yikes.
I think I had forgotten how appealing he was as a kitten. I'm not particularly a cat person, and yet he already says "personality." I can like that!
Awwww!! Baby Hobbes!!
