I-hate-Hobbes Sunday--by Grace
Poor Grace. No matter where she goes, Hobbes has to follow, which annoys her to no end. Can't even go sit on the fence without a nosy stripey following. Sheesh.

After she jumped down and scared the bajeepers out of Hobbes, she proceeded to whack him one as she went by.
So, yes, there is somebody who doesn't love Hobbes.

You know, with the title of this post and my reputation, people are gonna think I am the "Grace" in question! (Looks like a lovely day in your neighborhood.)
She can't get any privacy around there!
Poor Hobbes! That ought to teach him a lesson.
Have a nice day, Lin.
--somebody who doesn't love Hobbes.
And why would she? Hobbes gets all the bloggy attention. Oh, wait. Grace just got her day in the Sun(day) didn't she?
That's how it is with Stinky and Sherpa. They always want what they can't have.
Brothers are Bad that way.
Too funny. Maddux and Irish waffle back and forth between being loving and friendly and fighting and hissing at each other. One minute Maddux is licking the back of Irish's neck (apparently trying to reach those hard to get to spots, how nice) and the next minute they are going for each other's throats hissing at each other. Oh well, at least they get along some of the time.
I absolutely love the action shot at the end -- the blur that is Grace! Will this become a feature on Sundays? It might have some legs.
Side note: I was texting a blog buddy and told her I think I'm going to make my kids call me Gingah on Tuesdays and Saturdays and she replied back, "Grace insists that I call her Princess Grace all day today."
And for a minute I thought that text came from YOU and I had to laugh that the cat wanted to be called Princess Grace.
And then I realized that's bluesleepy's 4-year-old daughter who is named Grace.
Laughed even more after that. I do, however, believe your cat can wear the title Princess Grace with no problem.
Poor Grace. Hobbes obviously hasn't learned yet that sometimes a girl just needs her space
I'm sure Hobbes is learning to let Grace have her personal space.
Oh, poor Grace. Hobbes is just intrigued by her and doesn't realize that she needs her alone time outside. We bet she doesn't love Hobbes a little bit but is playing hard to get!
Haha ~ I don't know who to feel more sorry for ~ Grace or Hobbes! Oh well, I'm sure she didn't whack him too hard! :)
xo Catherine
You can really see those stripes in that shot. Maybe Grace wap'd him cuz she's jealous.
+++++++++++ oops, ollie mu.
0st+0-..................st be sending an encrypted message to Hobbes.
Our broken moniter came back from the shop is finally hooked up.
Grace--We know YOU would never hate Hobbes, Grace. ;)
Violet--She just hates the idea that we have another cat in this house period. Poor Grace.
Veronica--Unfortunately, it doesn't phase Hobbes in the least. He'll take a shot or two at her later, I'm sure.
Vanilla--Grace doesn't want much attention, Vanilla. Really. She would love to just lay on her pillow, eat her kitty food, and go about her business without anyone interfering--even us.
Pricilla--Grace just wants to be an only cat again. I think she misses those days.
Daisy--I thought of you when I got this shot, Daisy. I thought you would appreciate Grace's rebellion to Hobbes being naughty.
Lola--Oh, there is no licking around here...EVER. It is hissing and spitting ALL the time. Grace does not like that we have another cat in the house, no matter who it is!
CG--Yes, my cat insists that I refer to her as "Princess Grace". Yeah/no. Even I don't go that far. "Grumpy Grace", but never, ever "Princess Grace". I would love to do the I-hate-Hobbes feature, but I can hardly get them within 20 feet of each other.
Ann--Grace would love for him to just disappear one day like Ruth and Henry did. In fact, I still swear she had something to do with their untimely deaths.
Chocolate--Nope! He never leaves her alone. He swatted her hiney the other day as she was going through the cat door! He just doesn't get it.
Beaded Tail--Nope! She hates him. Really. There is never a tender moment between them EVER. She hated him since the day he came. Oh, she hated the two kitties before him too.
Catherine--Feel sorry for Grace. She keeps trying to put him in his place, but he won't obey. Well, he stays clear of her, but he just can't resist a whack or two every now and then.
Ozark Mtn Cats--Thanks for the secret "cat" message. Why do I think it had something to do with catnip?? Grace wants to be an only cat. I think there are just some cats who want to be alone with her humans. Grace is one of them.
Just like siblings--love/hate relationship, till they grow older and learn to really appreciate one another
That is too funny! Poor Grace!
Kind of makes me wish I had a brother to beat up on!
love it! Seymour and Coco are the same way...except it's Coco (pretty girl) who's always following my stripey Seymour. They are soooo funny.
Jodi--Uh, that ain't coming with the cats. I lost two cats before Hobbes and I'm seriously thinking Grace had something to do with their deaths.
Storm--Just the fact that he breathes is enough for Grace.
Sparkle--Nah, I think you are better off without one. That's what they make kitty toys for. Brothers are very annoying.
Roschelle--Do they get along? Mine don't. EVER. I am seriously jealous of all those kitties that cuddle and hang out together. That ain't happening here.
I think Grace may be mis-named!
Looks like Grace is slimmer than Hobbes. So no need to be envious I guess? :D
LOL, thats too adorable!
LOL... oh my goodness. That you caught that in pictures is sooo cool. Poor Hobbes... Uh, I mean poor Grace. Hmmm?
