There's one in every crowd--you know, the one who has a little too much to drink, is a little too loud, or is having just a little too much fun.

I spotted a bug party on the cone flowers the other day, and sure enough, I spied the wild one.
Check out the earwig with his face in the drinks and his hiney in the air while the ants are all just politely hanging out.
Sheesh. Like I said......there is one in every crowd. Even bug crowds.

My sisr is usually that bug at every party.
You are so right Lin ~ there does always seem to be one in every crowd. Sadly, once in awhile it's me! Ha!
Thankfully I don't drink too much or too often ~ though I seem to be loud anyways and I try to always have lots of fun! :)
Have a Happy Monday friend!
xo Catherine
Oh, yeah! Party on, bug pallies.
Now THAT is a wild little buggy! It needs to come and hang out at my house...my flowers could use a little fun now and then!! lol
Bug bouncers? Yes. But only for the bugs that really bug the other bugs and drive them buggy and then they have to bug out or get bounced.
I've turned into a lightweight since having these kids and I think I'm the wild bug after 2 or 3 beers. Wanna go for drinks?
You want me to look at an earwig when I don't have to????
You do know those are my sworn mortal enemies, right?
Methinks someone may have way too much time on her hands.
You know, I have seen some bouncers that look like giant bugs. Do you think there is a connection?
And some more bug posts - what is it with the bugs????
I guess he shouldn't sip and fly....
That pollen. It'll get you every time
Poor Grace, between you and me with our bug posts I think she's going buggy :)
Maybe their bug bouncers are called fly swatters.
LOL!!!! You are soooo right!!!!
Lin, it is so refreshing to see that you are enjoying the little wonders of the world! You have quite the imagination, my friend....and I love it!
Wonder if that earwig's kids were embarrassed by its crazy behavior. :D
My Momma always said don't invite an earwig to a party... they always dive in the punch bowl.
If a bug is partying that hard, he probably won't notice it when I eat him.
Jodi--Does she end up with her butt in the air?? Ooops. Maybe I don't want to know!
Catherine--I'm the one who's too loud, but heck, that's me. I think I scared CardioGirl when I met her. Glad you understand. :)
Vanilla--Who knew all this was going on out there in the garden?!
A.Marie--Oh yeah, I never thought about it from the flower's point of view!
Chuck--Or they bug off. :)
Casey--That's a good thing! Just think how much cheaper a night out on the town is! It's okay, I'm the same way and YES, I'm in for cocktails.
Violet--Nope. Just keep looking at the ants. Joe hates those things too. What gives???!
Fish--The bug??! No kidding. ;)
Betty--Hahaha! Yeah, big UGLY bugs!
Grace--No kidding! The day I went out to take these photos it seemed everyone had posted bug photos. Gees, I just tried to be original. Fail!
Pricilla--I think he climbed under a leaf and passed out. Or he's in my house somewhere freaking Joe out. He hates those things!
Ann--Chuck and some other blogs did bugs this past week too! It seemed to be a theme. Poor Grace!
Ratty--Right you are! Hahaha! Good one, pally.
Natalee--I guess bugs can have fun too, right?! ;)
Hot Rocks--I either have a lot of imagination or I need a life. I'll take the first one. :)
Beaded Tail--Hmmmm...I wonder? At least they don't drive!!
Highway--No kidding! I hate those things in the house. Let 'em party in the yard!
Sparkle--Ewwwwww! Do they crunch??
LOL! Yep, there's always one in every party.
Of course, I still want to read the newsletter.I totally heart your writing, Lin.
You're so funny. I had to enlarge the photo to see what you're talking about. I guess every species has them - new saying: There's a bug in every crowd. LOL
I think they need a restroom to puke also :)
Earwigs are such hogs. And you know what happens when they've been imbibing a bit too much?! What we have now- an earwig population explosion! :-p
I didn't know they liked echinacea.lol
Veronica--Okay, but don't tell me I didn't warn you. Prepare for extreme boredom!
Petula--Hobbes and I were out watching bugs when I noticed somebody's big 'ol butt sticking out of the flower. It just cracked me up! Do you think other people notice this stuff?
V7--Hahaha! And little teeny tiny aspirin!
Rebecca--Hmmmm....now THAT is scary. All those loaded little bugs movin' in on the chicks. Ugh.
