Haha ~ oh naughty Hobbes ~ but how sweet you look perched up there. I'm glad the birdies are smart enough not to build a nest in there. You look a little bit like Snoopy sitting on his dog house ~ but so high in the sky! You are adorable Hobbes! :)
Daisy--He climbs the fence, Daisy! You wouldn't believe it if you saw it. Sixteen pounds scaling a fence!!
Nessa--Or enjoying the view. He's goofy.
Vanilla--I think he has a good view of a couple yards up there. He is so silly.
Kathy--I've noticed the squirrels sitting on there, but never the cat. He must have seen the squirrels and decided it was a good idea. I think the birds are wise to the whole lot of them.
Hot Rocks--He's just goofy, that cat. You never know what you are going to find him doing next!
CG--LOL! Yep, and that is Hobbes. Wish you could meet him on your trip to Chicago.
Lola--Yep, keeping all those birds away. Thanks, Hobbes.
Chuck--I guess the birds know better than to put their babies in there with tubbo sitting on the roof!
Highway--I think he likes it better than sitting on the fence to peer into the other yards. Easier on the hiney!
Jennifer--Yeah, like Knucklehead of the Year! ;)
Harriet--Darn. I can't imagine life without a kitty....or two. :)
Helene--He is such a busy-body! I think he likes sitting there checking out the world from a height. He keeps me laughing.
Catherine--I'm glad the birds are smart enough not to put their babies in there! Can you imagine their horrified faces seeing that on the roof??! Poor birdies. That cat is goofy.
Grace--He climbs that fence. He does not hop up, he CLIMBS the darn fence!! All sixteen pounds of him!
DG--Sixteen pounds of genius, DG. SIXTEEN pounds climbing a fence to get up there!
Verge--Climbs the fence. He can scale that fence like nobody's business. It's amazing to see. What's funnier yet is to hear scratching noises and you know he's on the other side coming over. We'll watch for him and soon you see this little orange face peeking over the other side--like Kilroy. It's hilarious!
Stephanie--He IS silly. And you never know where you are going to find him next.
Ann--Hahaha! I don't think Hobbes would know what to do with a bird IF he caught one anyway. :)
Beaded Tail--I think it is more about checking out the yards than it is about the birds. He LOVES to climb the fence and check out the 'hood.
Don--Quoting Elvis?? You are my kinda guy!! ;) Glad you are back, pally!!
Storm--I never know what that cat is gonna do next. He keeps my Thursday posts rockin'!
Pricilla--Yep--He loves to see what everybody is doing! He can scale that fence like it is nothing and spends his time watching the neighbors. Nice, eh? I wonder what they think of that?
Jodi--Yeah, maybe. Or he's just happy he found a comfy seat instead of trying to balance on the fence. Either way--he makes me laugh.
That's pretty funny. That's a Sylvester and Tweety moment if I ever saw one. Hobbes should sit there with his mouth open and pretend he is the birdhouse. Or get a birdhouse hat.
Ratty--Hahahaha! Now I have this image of my orange stripey with his mouth in the shape of an "O" waiting for a bird to pop in!
Sparkle--I think you would like to hang out with Hobbes--he has some great ideas for fun. :)
Fish--I think you are just jealous that you don't have an uber cool kitty like Hobbes. That's okay, I'll let you tell all your friends that you know us. ;)
June Zach--It's even more cool when you realize that cat is 16 whopping pounds!! You should see him scale that fence!! :0
hehe! Thats too funny... Great photo tho, you know? He really is a photo-op guy...his stripy orange against that blue sky? He must have a publicist following him I swear
I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days.
I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up!
I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

Hey, Hobbes! How did you get up there? It looks like some tricky climbing!
Hobbes is waiting for them birds.. hehe
Master of all he surveys.
I'd like to meet the bird who tries to go up there anyway :)
Oh...THAT is classic! Smart cat!
I love the look on his face. "What? I'm just hangin' out. There's no one here but us chickens."
Hobbes is at his post, keeping watch over Weirdville!
Hello Mr Birdie. I'm Hobbes. I'm with Welcome Wagon. Welcome to the neighborhood. I'd like to get to know you better . . .
Hobbes also has a great view into the neighbors yard. Looks like a cat-cam system you have going on there.
I love Hobbes Thursday too! That photo is hilarious, you could win something with that!
Wish I could have a kitty again. They are too funny.I have dogs now that are not too fond of kitties....
Hobbes is the red-cam of the backyard. LOVE that boy!

What fabulous photos! How the heck did he get up there and how did he get down? Super smiles this morning every where I look.
He is nothing short of genius.

Silly Hobbes!!
Has Hobbes been watching too many episodes of Sylvester and Tweety? Tell him to pay closer attention, Sylvester never gets the bird...lol
Hobbes is pretty clever! That's a perfect spot to view the neighbors and get a close up view of the Birdie Network!
Hey Lin--Long time!
Not that I don't love the occasional bird, but Hobbes is my kind of Cat!
A tiger, a hunter, one cool customer.
Peace, Love, and Understanding--Elvis Costello
Haha! That is hilarious!
Stinky loves to climb the trees around here. Fred did too in spite of having no claws.
Maybe he's spying on the neighbors.
Lesson by intimidation. Territory.
I love Hobbes--what a great cat! MEOW!

Yep, Hobbes has learned how to be just as subtle as his mommy.
