Forget Me Nots

I've learned this week that blogging entails a lot of sitting. Maybe too much, according to a certain bum, so I've been taking some time away from the computer this week. As much as I miss blog-hopping and commenting, I've got to chill a bit. And if that doesn't work, I've got to reschedule with the surgeon. Ugh.

I'm not sure what the weather is like where you are at, but here it is unseasonably warm (82 degrees) and absolutely lovely. The trees and bushes are budding and the perennials are shooting up in the garden. Okay, so the pond is still a cess pool--I'm thinking a little water change this weekend might help it--or not. It may just be one of those summers where we don't see much of the fish--who knows?

I'm taking a day or two to regroup, hang out with the kids, and to rest my weary bum. I'm gonna go lay out in the grass and let the sunshine warm my winter white skin. I'm thinking of hanging out behind the privacy of the fence, soaking up the fresh air and cool grass. The red-wing blackbirds are calling--beckoning me to walk away from routine for a minute. "Okay, " I tell them, "but only for a day."

I noticed the brunella plant was coming up yesterday. Okay, so they are faux forget-me-nots--I still love those teeny tiny blue flowers no matter what they are called. I still call them forget-me-nots.

I hope that you get to feeling better! I am so jealous of your wonderful weather too. We have snow and closed roads again today... Spring is not ever coming to Wyoming it seems!

I think a lot of folks are playing hooky these days! It was a long winter...we all need the warm sunshine!

Warmer where you are than here so enjoy. I always thought those little blue flowers were weeds! Had them in our yard in Alexandria - see how much I know about flowers, gardening and such. And if I had green space to lie around in, hell, honey I would be there instead of in here!

Enjoy your wonderful weather and have a happy Easter Sunday. Hope you feel better soon. Bill took a half day since it's hot and we're all set to take a bike ride through Gettysburg.

Oh, I hope you are feeling better. Maybe sooner is better than later with the doctor.
don't let embarrassment keep you from going.
It's always easier to deal with something before it progresses from bad to worse.

Enjoy it and have a Happy Easter! I'll admit, I've done my share of porch sitting today, can't resist.

Notice on the weather maps the rain in the Pacific Northwest? Yep, this time they got the forecast right and we're drenched! Enjoy your nice weather and stay off your bum!

Sounds wonderful to me...I've been working too hard! But do feel better soon. Frankly, I hope this heat goes away. I just hate it when 12 months of waiting for my Spring bulbs to bloom is over in 2 days...it's just not fair!

Well, you are most definitely kinder and gentler with a sore rear-end. I wonder if that was what my parents were seeking to accomplish...

Have a most relaxing few days off! Indeed ~ sitting on the 'booty' for too long is not good for it... in any way shape or form! :) I think we all understand that we must all take a break from our computers once in awhile! It does a body good!

Have a most wonderful Easter my friend!

Natalee--It was nice to be off! :) Of course, now I'm paying for it.

Stephanie--What is with that snow??! Ugh. I saw Pricilla had snow too.

Melodie--It has been so wonderful! You can almost see the grass growing!!

Grace--Nah, they are not weeds, I paid full price at the garden store. I have all sorts of plants in the garden and I can't wait for them to start blooming one of these days.

Jude--Oh, I hope you have the nice weather we do for that ride. Take more photos, okay?? Happy Easter, pally.

Pricilla--I'm going on Friday, pally. I guess I'm scared on what they are gonna tell me it is and that is why I'm putting it off. I don't want surgery and anything like that.

Rebecca--I'm good as long as I don't sit too long and I don't put my full weight on my butt. It is just really uncomfortable and sort of scary. I'll be at the doctor on Friday because I need to deal with this. Embarrassing or not.

Buggys--Yeah, it is just beautiful, isn't it?? Glad you got the same nice weather we did. :)

Beaded Tail--What do they say about April Showers?? Well, I hope it brings you sunshine later and lots of flowers. :)

Will Oaks--I noticed that too! All of the spring flowers are just wilting, the poor things. I am glad it is warm compared to last year's spring--that was TOO cold and rainy.

Fish--I've sort of got the fight out of me these days. I guess it is doctor time. I miss my spunk.

Catherine--It was nice to just walk away from the computer for a bit, but I do miss the blogs. I feel so out of the loop. It's catch-up time now!

Sharky--Yeah, the color is really good, isn't it? They are so cute!
