I have to go look but lin, omg this pic today is so adorable. Honestly it looks like a card. That cat could be a card, hobbes cards.

You know? duck and wheel with hobbes cards...

Exactly, Suburban Mom! Lin is sitting on a goldmine!

I'll go check it out but I want a Hobbes blog. Opus, Calvin & Hobbes, OUR Hobbes.

I'm so glad I got first in line on your post :-) Number 1 Hobbes Fan

Speaking of...is the fan club up and running yet??

Yikes! Onviously it was too early in the morning for me to comprehend your post. I'm leaving my original coment here so y'all can see how nuts I am. And I wonder why I have trouble in class...

I will indeed go check the new blog out.

Love Hobbes and all his stripey goodness. Such a cute belly! Why do kitty bellies always look so cute?

Lin, I am in a feline-induced coma right now. Let the stalking begin!

By the way, that picture of Hobbes lying on his back sunning himself is on my desktop. My kids and I admire it daily.

This just may send me into kitty rehab!! LOL!

Three comments in one day-see what you did to me?

Its on mine too, Cardiogirl. Makes me smile every time I see it.

Kitty rehab-I love it.

I have an orange boy cat - but he doesn't have a blog...

Do they have to be stripey? Mine are orange and white, but no stripes. But still darn cute and adorable.

YAY! I have always had marmalade cats, and I swear your blog and your blog alone is making me want one SO BADLY! I am afraid to go to that site. very very afraid!

No, I don't have the orange stripy goodness but I have a calico goddess, a blue, a white and a black cat as her minions... dang. Do I need to get another one?

Secondary Roads said...

Please don't make him wear a purple dress. Please.

I've always wanted an orange cat. Alas, I've only had two grey's, a brown tabby, two black and white, and one all black. Some day... some day I tell you I'm gonna have a orange cat and a calico. Then I will be complete.

I'm more of a dog person, but I love to watch cats. I had a stray that I helped take care of once. Good-luck with your new blog and take care.

Red Cats rule!

Of all the cats I've had over the years (and there have been many), I only ever had one orange tabby. He's gone now, but he was a hoot and half! Will check out new site.

Duke may get jealous if I keep looking at all the cat blogs so I'll have to peak in while he's not looking. I LOVE LOVE that picture.

Lin, totally had to come back and look at the Hobbes card :)

I love that picture of Hobbes! I agree that there should be a Hobbes line of cards and shirts and posters and mugs and...well, you get the picture!

Would a splotchy red cat qualify for your Red Cat Society?

Tracy--Criminy. You aren't joining Helene and the rest of the gang in the fan club, are ya?? I'm gonna make you all Hobbes Fan Club I.D. cards with this photo. :)

Helene--You are crazy, Helene!! Okay, there is a whole blog of Stripey Goodness, pally. Just don't O.D. over there!

Catherine--And why do they get mad when you wanna kiss them? I find them tempting too.

CG--He's kind of the Burt Reynolds of the cat set, isn't he?! :) Do you kids wonder whose cat that is?

Jo--Is is possible to get too much Orange Stripey?? I think not.

Helene--Don't people wonder who that is on your desktop??

Grace--Do you want to join the Red Cat Society?? Send me his photo and your email and we'll sign you up, pally. The more the merrier!

Lola--Sure! As long as there is orange/red--I think you can join. It might be good to mix it up a bit. Send me a photo and we'll sign you up if you are interested.

peewee--Well, you can look at it too ways--it may make you want one more, or you may just live vicariously through ours. Go ahead, take a peek....

Lifes--I think so. There is just something about an orange male. They are special kitties.

Chuck--There are no clothes at The Red Cat Society, Chuck! We make them all go naked. :) And there are also no red hats or wrinkles either.

LJ--I had a calico shortly before Hobbes--gees, that cat was beautiful! She died at a year old--I miss her everyday. I love kitties--like you, I think I've had every color! And yes, you do need an orange stripey.

Jude--Isn't it funny how most prefer either a dog or a cat? They are so very different and that is why I like to dogsit Sammy the Wiener Dog--I get my dog fix.

Sharky--Yes they do! I love your comment on the new blog, Sharky. That cracked me up. :)

DJ--What is it about orange males?? Gees, they are the BEST kitties ever.

Ann--Maybe you can make him a Halloween costume like an orange stripey cat to get on the blog! Poor Duke. :)

Tracy--LOL! You are sooo funny! Really?! Do I have to have notecards made??

Ozark Mtn--Sure! Send me a photo and your email and we'll sign you up. We need all sorts of red kitties!

YAY!!! Stripey Goodness Prevails!!! :D

ps: that photo so good, i want to rub his stripey stomach.. :D

Lin said...

Vanilla7--Everyone seems to like that photo today, Vanilla! Seems a chubby kitty tummy is very tempting to everyone. :)

Sparkle said...

Is this only for stripey cats? 'Cause I'm pretty red, but I'm ticked, not striped. Officially I'm "ruddy" which is a little browner than red, but I do have a fluffy red behind and my human assures me I have a "redhead" personality. (I am not sure what she means by that, and I get the feeling she is not being wholly complimentary.)

Lin said...

Sparkle--Sure, the more, the merrier!! We aren't just holding to orange stripeys. I'll send you an email!
