Somebody isn't feeling so hot these days.
Seems he's a bit......
uh......clogged.
Seems he's a bit......
uh......clogged.
sardines packed in oil, a dozen cans of wet food,
a little tub of wheatgrass,
and a bag of petromalt-laden treats,
I'm hoping he can "work things out" on his own.
My house smells like a wharf,
Grace is all but dancing while she wallows in
Hobbes discomfort, and I'm really,
really hoping I don't have to give the cat an enema.
Yeah, it's good to be me.
UPDATE: Hobbes is currently at the vet's office having x-rays and blood work done. He has a very high temp and they aren't sure what is happening with him. We are all a little freaked out at the moment, so please, send a prayer his way. Hobbes is very special to us--well, to everyone.

Is that the next step? Ugh! I am hoping that "Fleet" is not in your future.
Thank you for nursing our precious Hobbes back to errrr normalcy.
I didn't know cats constipate!
Hope he'll unclog soon!
oh no, poor kitty. i sure do hope he is able to get all that out of him.
wishing you a great day my friend...hugz!
Poor Hobbes! I hope his pooper is working again real soon.
Another thing you could try is canned pumpkin (just plain pumpkin, not the pumpkin pie mix). Some cats will eat it plain, or you can mix it with his foods. It has lots of fiber and it can get things moving again!
I was about to say...a Fleet enema does everyone a little good, every now and then. Even a cat. Named Hobbes.
Oh, the joys of parenthood.
LOVELY :)
oh, the lengths we'll go to for our pets!
LOL - sorry to laugh. But it just reminds me of the kind of day my husband is having...Hmmm - I have petromalt for the cats, maybe I should give some to him.
Oh and super pic of Hobbes...
Oh Hobbes, let it go...please!
I know very little about cats, but I don't think I would even attempt an enema even on my beloved dogs.Good-luck to you and Hobbes.
Oh my.... that is just well....
Hope you don't have to do the enema. Good luck to you.
Oh my goodness! I hope you don't have to do that either. I was amazed that I was able to help our dog by doing a "procedure". I won't give the details. Let's just leave it at, I was amazed I did it.
If you do have to administer that procedure, please don't post video. What has been seen cannot be unseen.
Poor Hobbes....I hope it works out in the erm, end.
Hope Hobbes is feeling better soon.
And we all know who will be giving the enema, don't we? My fellow Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman. It's so unfair! I'm still administering Maddux's Itraconazole (which I affectionately refer to as chicken barf, because that's what it smells like.) Anastasia attempted it ONCE! I've been doing it daily since January.
I'm sure Grace is whooping it up. It's like they know the other one isn't feeling well. Maddux got loose over the weekend and was dancing circles around the poor recovering Irish.
I hope all is OK with Hobbes. Get well soon, Buddy!
I posted a little note on Twitter for more purrayers for him!

I hope things are okay....keep us updated. My thoughts go out to Hobbes.
Oh poor baby - I hope you'll update later. I can't stand when our furry friends are ill...
Oh poor Hobbes. Duke and I are both sending good wishes his way.
Oh no! We're so sorry to hear about Hobbes. Hope the vet can get him well again. We're all sending lots of purrayers his way.
Oh dear! Hope they get Hobbes under control. What could have happened?
Moe used to like that petromalt but Spunky Doodle just walked away from it and wouldn't have anything to do with it. Sure hope Hobbes feels better soon!
