This is what is making me laugh the past few days. Thank you, Cardiogirl for sharing this with me, but my family would like to kill you now. For some reason, they do not think me answering their every question with a high-pitched "Nope!" is very funny, but I do.
Apparently, they do not have a sense of humor. Sigh.
I saw this a few days ago and for some reason it didn't amuse me much. However, Irish has been endlessly amusing. When we play with the feather on a stick, after awhile she acts like she's bored and walks away, hiding behind a chair, then she lies in wait, runs and tries to pounce on it, not getting it, she nonchalantly walks away as if she's not interested, then goes back to lying in wait, lather, rinse, repeat. Thursday night we did this for over an hour. I could not stop laughing.
Joe--Oh, it DOES drive them nuts! Anything to annoy those beastly teens, Joe!
Violet--:) I like how he insists.
Chuck--He does not like the flash on the camera, can you tell?
Cute--Nope! (I couldn't resist!)
Vanilla7--EVERY weekend is a good one for Hobbes, Vanilla! He loves when everyone is home to spoil him. :)
Nancy--:)Try that "nope" on the kids this week--just for laughs.
Pricilla--Aw, Patty. :( Maybe Fred is playing "I Spy" at the Rainbow Bridge. I hope so.
Stephanie--Doesn't he look thrilled? Nope!
PJ--Aw, it's just good for a little laugh. Now go ahead and use the "nope!" on your family. :)
Lola--Because your kitties are young and cute and funny. They aren't old guys who just give you that "look" when you try to play with them. This is totally Grace these days. AND the bonus "Nope!" is really, really annoying to the teens. Go ahead, show them the video (which they won't think is funny either) and then use "Nope!" on them for everything for the next week. Guaranteed to annoy big time!
DG--And why do I imagine Spike to have that same attitude?? Hilarious, isn't he? "Rug". Makes me laugh every single time. But I am also very easily amused.
Catherine--Welcome, new pally! I found you today through Beaded Tail and was happy to find a new fun blog! Glad you came here too. :)
Will Oaks--Oh, it's just sort of silly, but it stuck in my craw. And it is super annoying to teens I have found out! Yes!! I need all the ammo I can get. :)
Storm--Well, there are teen words here (like "Fail" and "Right") which annoy the adults. Then there is "Nope" which annoys the teens. It's all fair, right? :)
Merry--See? That's why I find it so funny too. The human is all wacky and the cat is like "whatever". LOVE it! But nobody here thinks it as funny as me. :(
Sharky--Oh, all cats would hate this! Especially the giddy human who insists on playing. Ugh.
CG--I LOVE that video because it just strikes me funny AND it annoys the bajeepers out of my kids. Thanks for introducing me to more ammo against the annoying teens, pally!
I just think life is more fun if we notice the little stuff and laugh...a LOT. I'm lucky to live with a family who humors me, joins in the fun and tolerates me most days.
I have a wee house and yard, but it is loaded with adventures. There isn't a backyard pond owner out there who has more stories about her frogs, snails, fish than me. And I don't even make this stuff up!
I'm glad you are here to laugh with me. Welcome, pallies!

I like the idea. Should drive the family crazy.
Rug!
I love that look on Hobbes' precious face. Does he really keep you guessing?
You do know where this video is ending up tomorrow, right? ;)
(Don't say "nope.")
P.S. Hi Hobbes!
Hello Hobbes! Did Lin abused you lately? hope not! :D
Have a great weekend Hobbes!
chuckle:)
Awwwww, the kitty looks like Fred........

That video was hilarious. Looked a little like the hotness monster, no?
Hi Lin ~ very fun blog you have! I will be back.
Oh my, that video was precious--and so is Hobbs!

Rug!
Tell them it could be worse... our word of the day, ok, month over here is "word" ;)
This is hysterical to me. I can just see the cat saying it.
Hobbes clearly thinks that the inventor of the I Spy game is worthy of disdain from all cats.
Storm--Well, there are teen words here (like "Fail" and "Right") which annoy the adults. Then there is "Nope" which annoys the teens. It's all fair, right? :)

That will be funny to me until the day I die.
I love how sarcastic the cat is when he says, "You wanna know why I know? Because it's this rug."
Also love when the cat says, "Okay, let's do this."
