Recovery Mode

I'm off recovering from a hectic, rainy, and freezing cold marching season. Give me a day to regroup, okay?

Hi Lin. Love that photo- gorgeous! Is this your display or somewhere you went?

You picked a bad day to regroup as you are the WINNER of the grand prize for my give away-yay!!!

Your "pick me, pick me's" finally paid off:) You won because of your heavy comments on my blog- so thanks so much for your interaction and being a true 'pally' as you would say! When you get back from relaxing, please email me your address- nfall2rt.design.studio@gmail.com so I can send out your prize! And check the blog to see what you won.

I'd take two days if I were you. But since one is really all any of us can seem to scrape up...enjoy the day of recovery and relaxation.

My daughter was in marching band what seems like ages ago, I remember the cold rainy weather. Enjoy your recovery. Love the photo you posted.

Well you sure picked the perfect day to take it easy. It's gorgeous outside. Too bad I've been cooped up cooking for Bearsfest. The kids carved their pumpkins with Anastasia.

I've taken it easy today too! Got a nap in and now I am working on my to-do list. It was so fun to meet you yesterday!!!

AAAUUUGGGHHHH....I WANTED TO BE IN THE COLD YESTERDAY!! :)

Hope you are getting lots and lost of rest!

How did your band do???

Nancy--Oh, these pumpkins are from last year's trip to a roadside farm stand where we nearly died from deadly gnats. And YES! I saw that I was a WINNER of one of your art works/little purses today! Hee! Haw! You know I wanted that win. :) I love coming to your blog and chattin' it up with you. Love ya, pally.

Jodi--Who gets two days of recovery anymore? Hell, I had hernia surgery last January and got less than a day to recover before the family was crying.

Ann--Ah, we band parents are hearty stock, aren't we? I'll be fine as soon as I can feel my toes again.

Pricilla--Doesn't the world shut down if Mom takes a day off? I think so.

Violet--I just need to thaw out my frozen fingers and toes until the football game this Friday. :)

Roschelle--Yeah, and there is never enough time to just rest, is there?

Lola--It will be nice to reclaim my Saturdays again. Whew! I actually took a nap today. :)

Diana--I still haven't unpacked my bag from yesterday! Yikes. Crazy days with band! I had such a great time meeting you, Diana. I'll send you the photo as soon as I download today.

A. Marie--We missed you!!! How is your son feeling?? I hope better today. I'm actually just catching up on laundry, bills, paperwork, laundry, ironing, cat snuggling, laundry, and miscellaneous laundry.

Just make sure you tell us all about it. For I am quite curious to find out what one does when cracks are found in their leatherneck.

Cute--Doesn't the world shut down if you take off more than one day??? :)

Veronica--You should see the trees! I'll try to capture some of those for you warm weather pallies.

Storm--Easier said than done, right?!

Vanilla7--Hey, don't be talking about my pumpkins like that! ;)

Fish--Hey, what happens away from the Duck and Wheel stays away from the Duck and Wheel!

Mtn Woman--Oh, it didn't last long. :)

Grace--Don't you love the colors of fall??? I do!
