Boo Hoo! Boo Hoo! My dear friend Tammy and her family aren't coming to see us this Thanksgiving! (Note to the economy: I HATE YOU!) I'm hoping things break soon and maybe we can all meet up at the Ostler Farm or something. Nothing like a friend when times are tough, and I think she needs me as much as I need her these days. Maybe it was my singing Christmas songs at the top of my lungs on the trolleys. Maybe it was the never-ending supply of lemon drop martinis. Or the fact that the Kautz's killed the Smith's in Scene-It. Pat says it's that his job is as precarious as Joe's, but I think he just cannot stand another Thanksgiving camped out in front of PuppetBike and forced the family to spend the holiday back in Cleveland. Maybe I'll send him another deep dish pizza to bribe him for next year........
Miss you, Tammy! And Patrick. And Abbie. And Pat. Boo hoo. Boo hoo. Sniff.

Yeah, it's hard to be separated from those you love, especially at the holidays... I feel for you! But try to focus on those who are here. Things will get better in time.
You know if a friend is a good friend by how much you miss them. It sounds like these are good friends. Perhaps, there are new friends coming just around the corner.

PS. good pic, did it snow around turkey day last year ?
Just a thought: You could always inivite someone you know to dinner who might not have any place to go! We did this when we were in the Army and had a great time! When all was said and done we had 5 families!
I hope you get to see your friends soon. It's always good to be able to connect to those you hold dear during the holiday season. Take care ane enjoy your Thanksgiving.
